  1. What bikes.....?
  2. No air brushed here. Just sun kissed !!!
  3. Tis a sad day my brothers I must part with my beloved Scura. #372, it is in good condition with 18,000 miles. Short list of options; Staintunes, Mike Rich stage 2 porting, Zebulion risers with end mirrors, Fast By Ferrarchi head guards, MG rear luggage rack (silver), MG rear seat cover (red), drilled air box and Power Commander. I am the second owner, bike came with factory service manual (printed), Ohlins' manual and flow chart from Mike. It has had a slow crash on the right side (not me) as evident by a scrape on right side muffler and head guard. Rash on muffler not bad and I only would replace it if I found one used but not bad enough to spend $$ on new system as they sound fantastic. Tank and all plastic and carbon fiber are fine. Black engine paint is fine with only very minor flaking on some sharp edges on rear drive (easy fix). This season saw new Ferodo pads front and rear, flushed fluid in front and clutch (rear needs to be done), oil and filter change and there are a new set of Pirelli Corsa III's ready to go on in my living room. I'm going to list it on e-bay 7-12 but wanted to list it here. I'm will be asking what I believe is a fair price but will entertain offers from regular members here. Not interested in hearing from non members or those who just joined in the hopes of getting a deal. I will be taking photos tomorrow and will have them to send along and for posting on e-bay. It has always run great and never let me down.
  4. Are you kidding me, it looks hot. In the video it has looks that remind me of a 916. The exhaust is the "latest" moto GP look, sure the perimiter braking has it's drawbacks but it's a Buell thing. Sure Buell has an identity crisis as he has had to work with old engine design as has MG. So is it a HD? No Sport bike? Yes. Can it compete with the other sportbikes available out there on the track? No. Now.....maybe. He has done a great job!!! This new ride is the only way to make something compettive. HD would never build a motor like this so it's up to others like Rotax to do so. By the way, the only way that MG will ever be make this kind of power is going to be with liquid cooling and OHV. Welcome to the modern age!
  5. OK, It's almost 2 AM, I can't get to sleep. Thanks for the great laugh,
  6. Ohhhhh. I get it, it's the guy in the orange cap not GW , Silly me.

  11. Just replaced mine this week. Found the info. here (no suprise ) from www.mouser.com The part number is 653-d2sw-3ts which is their number. Cost me $3.31 and $9.50 to get it here! but still cheaper than $24.50 from my MG dealer. It has three connectors and we need only 2 so just hook up to the two outside connectors, you can leave the third alone or break it off and coat the end. I ordered on line but if I was to order again I would call to see if it can just be shipped in a padded envelope to save on shipping. Not UPS. Good luck
  12. Boating, the beach AND mud slides, it's all good now that summer is here. Who-hooo !
  13. Man that sucks ! Gives me shivers when I read about these things. Here's wishing you fast recovery, high insurance settlements and for all parts to be in stock for both of you. Sounds like it could have been a lot worse, with it being a garbage truck and all that steel.
  14. I'm getting a chubby!
  15. Tom I did an intensive search about a year ago to find an AGV helmet in the New England area. I called 20 or 30 places without any luck. Seems no one stocks them but they are available to anyone who is a "parts unlimited" dealer. All will order one for you but some want a restocking fee if you don't take it. They will re-order the correct size at no additional charge. I was in Florida a few months later and struggled to find a dealer down there only to find they don't fit my round head. It really sucked because by that time I REALLY wanted one. Guess I just wanted to look a little like Valentino. Good luck.
