All Rosso Corsas have the satin paint finish.
The one you found is a model which was never sold.
It is the factory image of the the first Rosso Corsa
which was used for images on www.motoguzzi.it.
Here´s an image of mine (the exhaust system is not the original one )
The first crossover-pipe bikes were already sold in the mid of 2002 in Europe.
They also had the horrible wrinkle paint which makes so much problems.
The change to satin paint was made at end of 2002.
Hi Jaap!
I think, our V11-2004 engine with a bit more torque (exhaust system, ECU, higher compression, dual ignition) would be perfect.
Who needs more than 100 Nm/100PS with 200kg ?
Wouldn´t it be a good idea to let Ghezzi & Brian produce a street legal version of the MGS-01?
A lot of Guzzi drivers and also riders of other brands are waiting for it!
I forgot som important facts:
- The small metal plate which is carrying the helmet holder was bended outwards.
- The original helmet holder screws were drilled out and replaced by "normal" longer ones.
- A third hole was drilled for the adjuster.
Here is an image from the austrian Moto Guzzi Homepage.
It shows the Titanium Kit ECU, so this is official:
It seems that some Luigis down there in Mandello must be stoned.
