Hi Jaap,
no it is still the old desing.
At the moment it not looking too awful because most bubbles disappear when the engine is cold.
But I fear that it will get worse.
The bike was too expensive for that!
Hi Japp,
yes please!
I got that bubble problem on a 2002/03 too.
There was no problem not long ago, but after riding on german "Autobahns" with approx. 140 km/h for hours, my engine also has the first bubbles - SHIT!!!
:finger:
Hi Jaap,

Let´s see if we could gather some more info.

Hallo,
I just got a catalogue from Fechter Drive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
=>Fechter Drive is the german distributor of SHARK Exhaust Systems.
Sorry for confusing you.
It seems that Fechter Drive is indeed the producer of
SHARK Exhaust Systems (I have just read the catalogue)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first image shows the "High Up" slip-on version.
All mufflers are available in Aluminimum or Carbon.
You can choose between street-legal or racing versions.
Kind Regards
Jan
Hi Al,
in German it´s "Drosselklappen Abdeckung", I think in English it should be
"throttle body covers"
Standard versions can be found on Californias:
I think they could avoid rust inside the bodies (?):
