  1. Using that same reasoning, you might as well buy a Suzuki if you are so concerned about the weight of your wheels.
  2. I'm leaning toward either red, grey, or gold for my Rosso Corsa.
  3. 10/02/2007 - ALPINA'S SPOKED WHEELS FOR V11 FINALLY AVAILABLE! ENTER FOR DETAILS. The collaboration between Rossopuro and Alpina produces the first spoked wheels kit for tubeless pneus, dedicated to all Moto Guzzi V11 models. The rims are made of aluminum, CNC machined aluminum hubs, inox spokes. Main feature of this kit is the new Alpina's patented A-System for tubeless wheels. With this new system is now possible to install tubeless tires on spoked wheels, so that speeds higher than 180 km/h are allowed also on spoked wheels. In the cross and supermotard fields Alpina wheels already reached the highest performances with max safety! The kit can be bought either in the Rossopuro's colors shown in the picture or choose your own color combination between black, gray, red and gold, both for the rim and hub. High resistance anodized finish with great looking style. The wheels could easily be installed from a specialized garage or tire changer.
  4. They're here!
  5. rossopuro now has the tubless spoked wheels for the V11 . . . BTW . . . If you don't mind . . . I'm the safety manager for my company and I'm interested in what type of protective clothing you were wearing during your get off, and how well did it protect you.
  6. I had not seen that. From where did those wheels come? Bella
  7. And these wheels would look good on the V11 . . . I wonder when rossopuro is going to come through for us?
  8. Where did you get that reflective MG eagle on the sport fairing?
  9. Try cycling the shift lever up and down the gears a few times, then reset to the neutral position. I had a similar problem, even after installing a new battery and fuses. Evidently there is a possibility for a "false" neutral, that will allow you to crank but won't start, and won't give you a light.
  10. To me it is the looks and an opportunity to put on some more carbon fiber!
  11. Nice job guzzi rider. You have motivated me to make the move on my Rosso.
  12. Welcome to the forum firecracker. Your first post reminded me of my first post back on 30 June 0f 2005. Within five months of research on here, I had accomplished my goal, and have never regretted my decision one bit.
  13. I decided to trailer my bike with me to Houston on a business trip. Dropped her off at MPH and met Todd and Mike (the owner). I was thoroughly impressed with their friendly and knowledgeable service. My LeMans now runs like new (I had to go for a ride as soon as I got back to Oklahoma City - temperatures in the 20's) to Todd, Mike and MPH
  14. PM me if you have a left front header pipe to fit my '03 LeMans. Will buy both left and right if needed.
  15. Me, Callison, and Richard Z are all in the same storm . . . FWIW
  16. OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Freezing rain today through Sunday. Highs in the teens.
  17. If you are like me, this forum is a godsend for V11 owners. Please take the time to support the forum with a PayPal donation of your choice. Just click on the "Keep V11LeMans.com Online" button at the top right hand side of the page. Japp does a great job, and I know that he would appreciate our help. Send him a little New Years gift.
  18. Anyone that wants a test ride, have them leave a cash deposit with you for the purchase price of the bike. Have them sign a simple written agreement, that if they wreck the bike, they just bought it.
  19. If you change your mind on the mirrors, I'll buy them from you.
  20. My speedo quit on my '03 LeMans about a month after I got it. The odometer works fine, so I've never taken the trouble to fix it. I usually ride as fast as the prevailing conditions dictate anyway, regardless of the speed limit, so I really have no use for a speedometer.
  21. Because the R is so rare, I would think ebay would be the route to go with a modest reserve. I bought my Rosso Corsa on ebay after seeing another one go about a month before I had decided to buy. I knew what I wanted and was ready to bid with cash in hand.
  22. $2,495 per set is a good price IMO. These are bling to the max. Of course the market will always set the price.
