  1. Piaggio is a multi-billion dollar company, right?
  2. I'm lovin' it! Just ordered a set of Ti slip-ons from MPH. Should be here any day. Can't wait to install them and listen to the soul of that V11! I get nothing but compliments from everyone who sees the Rosso Corsa in the flesh. If it wasn't for this forum, I doubt I would have bought one.

    Oh my God

    Come on! . . .
  4. Thanks for everyone's help.
  5. Thanks, but what I was wondering is if the "plug" is the same.
  6. Does anyone have a photo of the V11 unit, or could you comfirm if this unit would plug and play with a an '03 V11 LeMans? Genuine Aprilia European headlight switch for '98-'00.5 Mille, Mille-R, and '00-'03 Falco. This switch can also be used on '01-'03 Mille, Mille-R, and '02-'05 Tuono. This headlight switch puts the turnsignal switch in the correct location (above the horn switch), AND permits you to turn off the headlight. This part is valuable because it permits you to shut off the headlamp, useful on trackdays. With this switch you do not have to pull the fuse that controls the headlights. Aprilia part no. 8124261
  7. Here are some (clickable) thumbnails of the Rhino bar ends. Just like I thought, it is an easy swap. I decided to put on some new Renthals while I was at it. AF1 has these bar ends as well as other aprilia bits that will fit the LeMans. I have shopped with them for years and they are very friendly and reliable.
  8. Me likey! Some day, when I can live at home, I will get one! he he
  9. He he he . . . good one Steve . . . I caught alot of grief over on AF1 forum for those stickers!
  10. I didn't want to use the word "moron," but riding as described with a "gaggle" of morons is exactly a recipe for disaster. Lest any unsuspecting "new" V11 rider try to emulate this feat, it was one such "gaggle" that caused me to "buy the farm" on my aprilia when I came over a "blind hill/curve" in Loess Hills of western Iowa last Spring. They were scattered all over the place and I had no where to go but the far ditch (which was 10 feet across and 8 feet deep.) Result was a totalled SL mille and a broken left wrist for stupid me. Here was my baby . . . Here was the gaggle . . . Here's what I saw moments before the chaos . . . Here was the point of impact . . . (note brown stone just above the point of impact) . . . Here was a memorial placed years earlier, just 10 feet from the point of impact . . . Cop told me she was a passenger on the back of a Hardly that didn't make the turn . . . Here was the result to my bike . . . And here was the result to the "moron" who rode with the "gaggle."
  11. Know the Rules
  12. What are the part numbers for the turn signals?
  13. Very clean look!
  14. Luggage Locker They list Moto Guzzi V11's on their fitment chart. Worth a look I reckon. I may just get me one of those tank bags to start with.
  15. Moto GP action video
  16. Not sure if you are interested in a low mileage '02 LeMans, but I have personally seen this particular bike, with Titanium exhaust kit and various carbon fiber bits. It is stunning and sounds awesome. The photo is clickable if you want more info.
  17. Nice looking suit. How much did it cost? Here is a site I found that does custom suits for $1250 to $1650.
  18. I'm in the market for a track suit. Does anyone have any opinions (and/or personal experience) about these selections? Click pics for detail
  19. New is always special. Congratulations.
  20. I bought my Rosso Corsa on ebay and it wasn't cheap. I had watched another auction for a Rosso Corsa go down a few months earlier, before I was prepared to buy, so when another Rosso Corsa became available my maximum bid was the winning amount on the previous auction. Turns out I got it for a couple of hundred less, but it wasn't cheap. The moral of the story is a sellar will get whatever the market will bear at the time of the auction, cheap or no.
  21. MG should do what Ducati has done with their 30 left over DS1000's . . . No headlights, tailights, turn signals, track only . . . $7,999. Of course the DS1000 doesn't have the Ohlins forks and Termignoni exhaust, but it does have an Ohlins shock.
  22. V11 Titanium Exhaust System for 2003-2004 models originally equipped with crossover pipe between headpipes under alternator: Part No. 97.32.60.90.00.14 Anyone want to sell me a titanium exhaust kit? contact: orangeokie@yahoo.com 17 April 2006: "Never Mind! I found a set!
