  1. Welcome Rocker . . . you obviously have very good taste.
  2. Didn't the Rosso come with a carbon fiber front fairing?
  3. Can't beat that green with a red frame.
  4. Very cool Dr. Gil . . . I went through the same thing with my aprilia last year at this time, so I can relate to how you feel right now. It definately draws you closer to your machine, having explored her most intimate workings. Lot of pride goes into the job as well. I remember when you were first apprehensively considering trying to restore her yourself. You had alot of self doubt, but you trudged ahead. Congratulations!
  5. Doc I know well the feeling of putting a bike back together. I know you are excited to get her back on the road. I'll bet you feel really good about your personal knowledge of her most intiment secrets. BTW . . . did you reconnect the kickstand switch?
  6. Yes. That is a smokin' deal!
  7. I sat on a new Paul Smart here in Oklahoma City and I have to say I am quite jealous of you. Very nice bike. Congratulations!
  8. Good find!
  9. Ben . . . I've got to give it up to your Gophers who ended our (Oklahoma State) 30 match win streak with your recent Duals championship. Minnesota's Cole Konrad celebrates after pinning OSU heavyweight Steve Mocco in the National Duals finals. Photo by Nate Billings
  10. Dallas Cowboys anyone?
  11. Al, FWIW, it was pics of your bike and your personal recommendations that sealed the deal for me to buy my own LeMans. You have a beautiful bike with some nifty mods!
  12. Bear with me a moment. There are a plethora of V11 owners on this site who have reported electrical failures in the garage and on the road with the OEM battery and relays. Perhaps there are a few "lucky" owners, such as yourself, who have not had a failure with the OEM stuff. I have not heard of one owner who has replaced the battery and relays with the Hawker and GEI replacements who has suffered a failure. Why change? It is a pittance well spent for peace of mind while miles from home. Why take a chance?

  15. Beautiful LeMans!
  16. Wrong -O skeeve. "It is a common misnomer to refer to Gatling guns (rotary cannons) as chain guns. Certain Gatling do use a chain-gun mechanism; however, all Gatling guns are not inherently chain-powered weapons. Weapons such as the M61 Vulcan, the M197, the M134, and the XM214 are chain-powered Gatling guns." link Awesome Video
  17. Besides the "look" I thought the "sound" of the exhaust, at power, was remarkably similar to a GAU gatling gun. Sort of like a buzz saw . . .
  18. Any former/active miltary folks on here familiar with the GAU-2B Gatling Gun used in Air Force and Navy/Marine Corps aircraft. Fires a 7.62mm round, at 2000 rounds per minute. Check out the new GAU-2B exhaust for your Guzzi Cruiser . . . Click pic for link
  19. Ah, the Big 12 South! You certainly have very good taste staedtler. Thanks!
