  1. Assuming I get the post '03 map, then is it a plug and play system?
  2. Is there anything tricky or out of the ordinary about installing the MG ti cans and ECU? I'm thinking about trying to find a set and install them myself. Does it require any other "tuning" of related components, (ie throttle bodies, etc), or is it just a simple plug and play system? I was fortunate to get to hear a set on an 02 LeMans at the Rolla, MO dealership (Interstate Motorcycles), and I decided right then and there, if and when I bought a V11, I was going to have to have these cans.
  3. ebay Tenni After winning a beautiful Rosso Corsa from a great guy in NJ, after initially suspecting his ebay ad may be fraudulent, no less . . . is it possible that Moto Guzzi shipped a Tenni without the brown suede seat? Was the bike originally shipped with the black stocker, and the brown seat installed by the dealer? I can't hardly believe a dealer would sell a Tenni without the trademark suede seat. I really like the Tenni BTW.
  4. P3GA .. . that is an extremely clean looking Le Mans. What's the story behind the Italian flag stripes on the seat? Looks like a Sargent touch. I like.

Welcome Mike. I just bought my first MG off ebay. Picking it up tomorrow . . . a LeMans Rosso Corsa. Don't be shy . . . post away.
  6. Here's another alternative I'm going to put on my new Rosso. They weigh a little over 8 ounces. I had them on my aprilia. Since the MG is mostly aprilia controls, these should fit perfectly, and the folks at AF1 are great to work with.
  7. Bill .. . that's a stunning Scura you got there!
  8. clicky di picky Not that I am disappointed with my pre-owned Rosso Corsa purchase, but I tried like heck to find a new or extra low mileage Scura for the past several weeks. I had the phone number of this dealership in my hand, the same day I won my LeMans on ebay, but decided there was no way they still had a brand new Scura on the floor, much less one at this price. They also have a brand new Champaign LeMans for $7,995. Dealership Website
  9. I notice nobody has mentioned the MG ti's. I heard then on a LeMans a few weeks back, and I really like the sound.
  10. Kinda sad, and makes me feel old!
  11. Thanks jim, my heart is still pounding.
  12. Thanks . . . Just lucky!..

  14. re: "they" didn't have the means to get out before the storm . . . If there had been a "free Fiddy Cent" concert in Houston I'll bet they could have found a way to get there.
  15. Bill, looks like we have similar tastes in bikes (I love the looks of the Scura as well) . . . here's a pic of me as a young 21 year old Marine during a weekend stint in Torremolinos Spain on my brand new 1973 T140 Triumph Bonneville 750! BTW . . . Are you the one who bought that Texas Scura?
  16. So the fairing makes that much difference? You are the second MG owner (other Scura owner) who told me that.
  17. With the new Breva 1100 and Griso coming into the market, not to mention the Stunning Coppa Italia, Rosso/Nera Corsa, and Scura/Cafe Sport . . . would anyone trade their current Guzzi for one of those mentioned above?
  18. Can someone confirm whether the Rosso Corsa has the crinkle or satin engine paint finish?
  19. Sounds like everything is on the up and up. He sent me his address. I read that ad more than once and never saw the reference to the photos. Guess my dad was right about "going blind!"
  20. I emailed him and asked for his address. Told him I wanted to see the bike in person before bidding. We shal see what we shall see.
  21. 52 qualifies as geezerdom.

  23. What's the difference between a MkI and MkII Scura?
