  1. Had loads of bikes over the years but my V11, I feel just the same - love it
  2. At least now I know what an unattractive vagina looks like
  3. Turn the sound off if you're squeamish
  4. Time for anger management methinks Maybe that is Jaap's anger management
  5. Try TLM - sponsor at the top of the page. centre stand V11 sport. I think it fits but someone will give you the info shortly.
  6. I just feel better, giving me a better feeling about my bike too. But there is a downside, fit new pipes they get dented. Deep luster polish demands an immediate scratch. Damn I can't even wear a new pair of strides without getting oil on 'em
  7. Beware of tribes 'speaking as one' Redline shockproof heavy is excellent though
  8. I can get straight on through the tunnel with a flexy (wheel off). It is tight however and I don't want to break the grease nipple (zerk) when I pull it off. What is required is a 45 degree angle connector. The bend closer to the connection end the better. I'll try and make one up, seems everyone could do with one and save so much hassle.
  9. I'm not sure if the ".......bate" something is really what I would care to see, one would probably need an extra wheel to ensure cover for health and safety.
  10. Just there for the Friday night and quite nervous of meeting so many folk I have read over the last couple of years - needn't have worried. Top people all of you and so many superb bikes. Really good to meet you all and particularly to meet the man who brought the V11 community together. Aside from the highlights already mentioned I would particularly like to mention following Guy's masterclass as he led from Ken Bridge to Crocketford on a quiet country road that was a mixture of wet and dry. His excellent positioning and control making following a pleasure and a beautiful evocative sound on that fantastic road. Thanks mate
  11. Absolutely right - how else do we learn? Had a few thousand miles on the Bridgestone O2Os and found a major improvement in confidence changing to Metzler M1, not long life but Oh what fun! Likely to put a Z6 on the rear next week for a better wear.
  12. So the mini-bucket is a loose fit and slides about on the top of the valve stem? Have I got that right Skeeve?
  13. looks bad to me too, the short radius rockers cannot be good. Pete how does this ball and socket system mitigate the side loading?
  14. Fair play to you Martin, a hoot.

    Goodbye.

Go on I'll bite - what young temptress has turned your head?
  16. From the cheap seats - 'he's right y'know . . . blahdy blahdy blaa'
  17. I laughed and laughed till I cried, Absolutely 'kin Brilliant
  18. Yeh, right. For others who may appreciate a fun element with these outdated and unreliable tractors that were stolen by the Commies http://www.imz-ural.com/downloads/movies.htm
  19. I love this site, where else could you be greeted with ‘chainsaw for your bike’, ‘the cooking of a cock called Serge’, ‘how the colour brown reminds of the the smokin’ hot Valerie Bertinelli’ and ‘a history of inflateable jackets’all in one. V11 owners eh?
  20. Riding a CB100N you would certainly be interested in the boy's mount (although I can't remember exactly what it was). The great thing for me of course was the Big Country soundtrack, one of my all time favourite bands and my music to ride a Guzzi to.
  21. Seems it's been to Leeds and I've missed it. I'll catch it elsewhere, I like quirky movies - remember 'Restless Natives'?
  22. If he was happy to admit this then what would he feel was abuse of a motor? This young man needs a proper sorting out. You cannot take responsibility for this.
  23. A bit of an old man now, had motorcycles continuously since 13 years old getting the opportunity to ride or own most of the stuff out there. There was no expectation when I bought my 'Red Sonja', crap reports and road tests, people without the experience asking 'why the hell would you buy one of those?'. But then some spare brass, a Rosso Corsa at a reasonable price bought in the pouring rain -I knew, I just new there was no way out, I was just going to love it and I did. By any objective measure she just doesn't compete but everytime I ride I understand about life, what is personal to me, not what others think I ought to be but what I am. Quirky, individual, generous and satisfying. What a bike.
  24. Noisy cyclists? - nah, they are only noisy when they're walking Fair play to you, you did say 'minority' Cycling on pavements - especially postmen and children Riding through red lights and not stopping coming out of side streets - are likely to pay the ultimate penalty, but like the unlit night cyclists seem to get away with it (I never get to hit one) Undertake a test, wear a helmet, pay road tax and display registration - I suppose you could get rid of cycling altogether but there are issues of polution, conjestion, health and economics to consider. I think in London there is likely to be some real anti cycling propoganda as the big guns get together to scupper the Livingstone emmission charging system(sorry if this starts a hare running Jaap) For my part Cycling is top, commuting, touring or training. The ever present risk of death or serious injury to cyclists is sanction enough. The moonwalking bear 'actually jumps out at you' if you do not task yourself with the nearly impossible count that is requested. Good fun though.
