    My Café Sport

Great picture. Almost monochromatic (spark plug wire still has some color) Nice bike Happy trails
  2. Hmmmmm. Methinks I've seen that rider/bike in my rearview mirrors before. By the way, Highway 36 was excellent that day too. Lots of riders...far apart Happy trails
  3. Sliders ruin the "lines" of a bike. I suppose if you were going to do a track day and were going to push yourself, sliders might have a place. I personally don't ride that way anymore. When in doubt... I wuss out! No decent squid should be without a set. Keeping 'em shiney.

    BMF Show

Now that's a beautiful Guzzi, Guzzbun. Congrats!
  5. speaking of tire plug kits, just got off another forum where this was discussed. http://www.my-mc.com/messages/1/69443.html?1148611971 Food for thought.
  6. Listers, The Ventura bags have found a new owner. Maybe next time.
  7. I got my '97 Daytona RS complete with the Ventura rack system. The former owner must have been a hardcore sports torurer. I have no use for most of the racks and bags. I will keep the small tail rack for my lunch box. Anybody that would like the remaining stuff is welcome to it for the shipping costs.
  8. I had quite a bit of CF on my '95 Ducati SS 900 sp. Clutch cover, alt cover, etc. It held up okay. Does look good too! Go for it.
  9. Right now, there's no inspection even when bringing in an out-of-State bike like I did when I bought the Scura. All the DMV looks for is the apprpriate stickers signifying DOT/California/EPA compliance. If you've got the stickers, life is good. Now when I brought in the Daytona RS (originally purchaesd in the UK) there was hell to pay for not having a DOT safety sticker. You would think that a quick inspection of all things safety would reveal that , yes there are turn signals, mirrors, horn, headlamp, brake and tail lights and even a kick stand cutoff switch. You would be wrong. What I needed to get was a VIN verification from the CHP. Get that, a verification (alrady confirmed by the DMV) of the VIN and engine number. Bureaucratic logic I guess. Anyway, I didn't need the canister for the Scura. Still have the hoses and canister mount sans canister. I love California
  10. Joe, When I purchased my '02 Scura last year, it arrived without a canister. As I am not looking to put a center stand on and if you no longer want your canister, I would like to buy it from you. The canister does not slow the engine down or make it "run bad". It does as slug says it does. If you won't be needing yours anymore, I'd like it. TIA, Bill
  11. Well, what kind of bhp are we talking here Jaap? Beautiful bike. I love the Coppa paint schemes.
  12. It appears to be the solution to a non-existant problem
  13. Happy Birthday Jaap. 40, huh? That's half way to 80. And that is old, old, old May you have a wonderful day and many more birthdays.
  14. I also enjoyed the program. Learned some neat stuff that I wasn't aware of regarding MG's. Winningest Marque in motorcycling history! I hope the sincerity displayed by the Mandello factory managers was not just hype. I'd like to think MG has turned a new corner regarding customer satisfaction. Time will tell.
  15. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, Rick. I would like to echo what others have said about not acting too rashly in giving up motorcycling. Some of life's lessons are tough to swallow, but we learn from our mistakes and become better riders because of them. Best wishes for a speedy and complete healing.
  16. Gee, that's tough luck Pete. I'm glad it looks like its going to get taken care of. Did something similar back in '73 with my new Triumph Bonneville. Had a guy stop short with no tail lights and I tried stopping on a moss covered ditch. Went right down with less than 75 miles on the clock. Anyway, happy you're enjoying/appreciating your new ride.
  17. Methinks it is way too early to make a prediction (outside of Rossi, that is). I'll just enjoy the show, thank you. Watching the likes of Pedrosa, Stoner and Melandri is food for the soul. Oh and that Hayden fellow may be on to something too! Cheers
  18. Indeed. God Speed Christian.
  19. Hey Orangeokie, Where did you find the orange bulbs? I searched all over and gave up and got the inner lenses for the smoky Buells.
  20. Yeah, what BigJ said. Go Scura.
  21. Welcome to the forum Tom, As a recent convert to the true faith, I can attest to the absolute brilliant information and assistance available from this site. The ride begins...
  22. Although I really like the Tuono's, personally, I'd get another MG. Good luck in your decision.
  23. Hey Dan, What's the number on your Scura? When did the first spring let go? TIA,
  24. ROTFALMAO
