  5. Your problem is the black wire is earth, yours is not connected to earth, the earth connection is the one on the side. Yellow if I remember is rear light and blue/red is brake if not it's the other way, but these should be on the central connectos, what is that grey wire and where does it go?

Not only are these great jackets the horsehide are waterproof, living in Scotland you get to know that. A little known fact about the owner of aero he was the man that put suzi quattro in leather. That's for those of us old enough to remember, he also made the jacket's for Mephis Belle.

Two things firstly Ewan has or had a Mk1 lemans, he is a keen Guzzi fan. Second I'm posting a picture of one of his earlier bikes, rather nice I would say. He's welcome at any Scottish Guzzi meeting, if he would only come but it is such along way from London. Regards, Euan
  12. Has anybody thought of collecting the limited edition numbers of the Scuras that have had exploding clutches to see if they correspond to a particular manufacture date. If so we could all be at ease, it could be a very limited number of bikes.
  13. Just a warning there is one UK based seller called Ditchpimp1. Avoid this guy he is a pain, I cannot belive the amount of Guzzisti contacting me over this guy. The GB guzzi club also recommend staying away.
  14. Sorry guys this is not rubbish, I have now heard this from three different sources. Guzzi erected a compactor in the courtyard and compacted.
  15. Very strong rummors coming out of Italy, Guzzi have crushed thier existing spares stock for vee twins from concept up until the V11. This was just like Ducati a few years ago. These marketing guys only wish to sell new bikes, they just don't realise it's us guys that have kept them going through thick and thin, in Guzzi's case it's always been thin. Even when they sell us crap we are still happy. Come on Guzzi lets talk. Your buyer's could have designed a better classic cali than the design department has managed, hats off to the Norge if it is up to the build quality, but after buying a new Guzzi I doubt it.
  16. Worst thing a shitty little garage like mine will cost you £35,000 in my row of garages. Parking charges are a complete bastard to motorcyclists, it just means car drivers pay premium for garages to drive in from the suberbs and park five days a week. Get the bus you suburbans.
  17. Sorry I've had that S3 since 1979 I love it. When I first saw it in my local dealer(when Guzzi had dealers) in 1975 I could not afford it as it was £1400.00, loads of money. Then I bought my sport in 1977 I knew Guzzi's were for life. By 1979 the S3 had had a bad crash and burst into flames, so the buying price was cheap but the repair costs were not, worth it now though. I could not fit the lemans in the pic, there's to much shit in my garage!
  18. To continue the theme here is Tonti and spine.

    02 Scura

DON'T FORGET THE SCURA OWNERS REGISTER IS STILL BUILDING EMAIL YOUR NUMBER AND LOCATION TO macguzzi98@yahoo.com
  24. Nothing new here then in Guzzi's usual pathetic marketing. Waken up Mandello you have competitors.
  25. Well register rolling along the earliest bike is 98 and the oldest 599. When I get the list bigger I'll post it. Warning to Scura owners I went up the road with mine last week, thankfully I was only doing 20mph, a small slide can be very costly. I was wearing a new Guzzi leather jacket at the time the real surprise is that it worked, the leather looks like a piece of shit but it took more abrasion than I thought it would. Still a bit sore, cause of accident and this is one to watchout for a large perspex sign lying in the road, did'nt see it as following traffic, an instant off!
