  1. Try it again with the clutch lever pulled in.
  2. Not sure whether she is putting it on or taking it off. Me likey!
  3. What Ratch says makes a lot of sense.
  4. I have a pair. Complete set up. Came off a Centauro. Same thing. What do you think they are worth?
  5. Although this may be a repeat it was too good to pass up.
  6. From the Coral Springs, Florida area, all joined in a team effort to rescue a young girl stuck in steel fence. It took several hours to extract her from her predicament. Fire Chief Stiffie said, "This was a pretty tough rescue, it took us quite a while to come up with a plan to safely extract her from the fence." Although the girl's entrapment was never life threatening it did take careful planning and gentle handling to safely remove her. She was taken to an area hospital where she was examined and released. Poor thing, this picture just about broke my heart! I just wanted to reach out and help her!
  7. Mine make be so very happy. I'm so glad they....came into my liiiiifffffeee! The Centauro puts the biggest smile on my face.
  8. I've been known to use a Mobil 1 M1-102 in mine.
  9. In most cases it's easier to remove the fairing completely rather than loosening the area you need to get around. I think the procedure is listed in the 'How To' section under 'Removing the fairing the EEEAAASSSYYY way!' 6 screws 2 mirrors 2 turn signal electric connectors
  10. I bought a lever from Motostrano.com several years ago for less than half the price of one at a Guzzi dealer.
  11. I bought a swivel fitting for my grease gun from Ace Hardware and it works reaching through the swingarm tunnel after removing the rear wheel.
  12. Might be a repeat but at least there is Guzzi content.
  13. A nut that's 27mm across the flats happens to fit an M18 bolt. If you can't find a metric nut that big you might look for a 3/4 hex nut and file the sides down until they fit. FWIW your friendly Guzzi dealer will have the axle nut. Several of my bikes came with one or two.
  14. Hillary country A man walked into a bar in Austin, TX and ordered a drink. While he was sitting at the bar watching TV, one of Hillary's political ads came on. After it went off, he stood up and announced to everyone, "Hillary is a horse's ass!" The bartender reached under the bar and brought out an oak club about 18 inches long and hit the man square across the head, knocking him off his stool and onto the floor. After a minute or two, the man got up, straightened himself up and said to the bartender, "I'm sorry. I didn't know this was Hillary country." "It's not!" replied the bartender." It's horse country!
  15. I just love freckles.
  16. I got one several years ago and I like it a lot. The seams are not double stitched. The shoulder and elbow pads work very well. After a while the elbow pads have started migrating towards my wrists but that's no problem. The vest sized liner works very well. I could use some more insulation for my arms though.
  17. Siemens relay V23073 or GEI relay AR4-012-C11 There is a Bosch number but I've been unable to find it.
  18. I just set the pedestal against the front of the sump with a slight lean. Lifting the front of the bike by grabbing the top of the tire rim allows the pedestal to fall back under the front of the sump
  19. Dear Dr. Phil , When I retired, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -- bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife, Ruth to join me, but she just never liked fishing. Finally, one day at the Bait & Tackle Shop, I got to talking to Sam the shop owner who, as it turned out, loves bass fishing as much as I do. We quickly became fishing buddies. As I said, the wife doesn't care about fishing. She not only refuses to join us, she always complains that I spend too much time fishing. A few weeks ago, Sam and I had the best fishing trip ever. Not only did I catch the most beautiful bass you've ever seen, only a few minutes later, Sam must have caught his twin brother! So I took a picture of Sam holding up the two nice bass that we caught and showed the picture to the wife, hoping that maybe she'd get interested. Instead, she says she doesn't want me to go fishing at all anymore And she wants me to sell the boat! I think she just doesn't like to see me enjoying myself. Dr. Phil, What would you do? Tell the wife to forget it and continue my hobby or quit fishing and sell the boat as she insists? Thanks, P.S. Enclosed is a picture of Sam with the two bass we caught. Dear Herb, Get rid of that narrow- minded wife. Sincerely, Dr. Phil.
  20. As Perry White of the Daily Planet would say, "Great Caesar's Ghost!"
  21. While Rockers method worked I can't for the life of me figure out why the front end did not tip over. I would do something with ropes from the handlebars to steady it.
  22. The blonde Number Six on Battlestar Galactica, Tricia Helfer.
