Is the 2.9 degrees for the kit ECM and the factory ECM? (crossover models)

I attended MMI 18 years ago. I think mechanics are born not made. The school is what you put into it, but it is only a starting point. It takes many years to become a good mechanic. The ideal way is to have a motorcycle back ground then attend MMI and have a experienced mechanic as a mentor. I started my own small independent shop 5 years ago and can't imagin doing anythig else.

My 03 spring broke at 10,500 miles. Had the correct size boss. I'm going to replace it every winter just to be safe. It only takes about 45 minutes.

Do the black faced Tachs (03 Lemans) need a extra ground to the frame? Mine bounces a little but it could a "normal" amount

My 03 Lemans front crossover tube is loose (bands are tight) and bangs against alt cover? Local dealer says thats normal. Is it?
