  2. It kills me to do so but, I'm selling a red and black 2003 MG LM. The bike is in very good condition, has never been down. Has 13.5k on it, I'm the 2nd owner and bought from the first owner with just over 3k. The bike has been serviced at Speeds Cycle since that time. It has: Mistral x-over FBF carbon pipes Custom map moto bits rear sets throttlemeister throttle lock MG OEM tank bag Odyssey gel battery chase harper tail bag (connects to the saddlebags w/clips) chase harper saddlebags I also have a Progressive racing suspension front and rear springs that will come with the bike.   3. I used the 1" inch version of the heavy salamanders. They are the older black dragonfly model. I may still have them in the garage, if I can find them, I can take a photo and if your interested I'll sell for $50 shipped?
  4. I know this may not help but depending on your options, I uses the HEAVY salamanders with my convertibars for a year before switching to the throttlemeister.
  5. I think its all relative to how bad your knees are but I cannot recommend the motobits enough. The move the pegs down and forward an inch and are more adjustable than most. They install in an hour or two depending on shop knowledge and look great on the bike. Got mine from the shop in Seattle (moto international?) sorry but this martini is killing brain cells:) and yes I'm a light weight.

  7. I too recently purchased a MTS1000, a 2004 with 1400miles to be exact. Don't ask how I got it, but for the price I basically stole it To me the two bikes are so perfect and compliment each other. I love both bikes but would ditch the Duc if I could only have one. I like to think of the MTS as a lighter more upright V11 that has more long range touring capability based on comfort and luggage carrying capacity. Both bikes have "character" but to me the V11 just has that little bit of something extra.

    I'll play I'm not a big beer drinker, never done a drug, although the day I retire I may smoke a joint just for kicks to see what its like/the appeal. My big vice is vodka martini's, cognac's, brandy's, and anejo and reposado tequila's. I can't always afford the $50 bottle stuff so I'm generally stuck buying the Christian Bros, E&J brandy or some other $20 1.75 liter bottle.
  9. Don't know about the RP's but I love my Motobits rearsets. They are awesome and super adjustable. I can't remember the forum member's name (damn this brandy is too good:) who hooked me up but contact Moto International out of Seattle, Wa. If you want pics just shoot me a pm and I'll snap some pic's of mine. They are beautiful, wonderfully machined, and go on without a problem, can't remember how much I paid, don't think it was very much compared to other options.   11. almost??....only counts in horseshoes, hand grenade's, and nuclear weapons Use the nuke and get rid of the "almost" I cherish the day I bought my LM, I'm going to be buried with that bike.
  12. I thought they looked ok at first but thought something looked odd until I saw the rear view. The new age style does not flow, in my eyes, with the shape of the v11. I still think the Aprilia RSV signals are better, they require some stalk modification/sanding down if you want them to fit flush like stock, but I think they go with the lines a bit better.

  14. I pay less less than $1k a year for three bikes with progressive. I'm 31, married, and have had an MC endorsement since 2001 and been with Progressive since day 1. I've got a 2003 Guzzi LM with full coverage and a $500 deductible, a 2007 Suzi DR650 with full coverage and a $1k deductible, and just got a 2004 Duc MTS1000 with a $1k deductible.
  15. This whole thing sucks. I was at the local dealer on Friday and asked about the Stelvio, the guy just shook his head and said they probably aren't getting any more Guzzi's in because they are most likely dropping the line.
