  1. .015 my be in not mm then either way .015 is the correct gap, iirc some us specs recomend larger. this is not my bike... adjusted it because the bike needed to be moved and as the valves had just been replaced it 'may' have been a settle in thing be it somewhat excisive... the bike was brought with having the cam just replaced so you would think it was not a issue. Thinking the 1st cam went due to oil feed failer, could this have happened again? Thinking perhaps bad luck and this bike has had two failed cams due to failed hardening?
  2. Ummmm, Im thinking not so good what do you guys reckon? V11 cafe sport was brought with new cam amongest other things... the exhaust valves recently burnt out and were replaced 1000k on and a exhaust tappit clearance went from .015 to 3mm re adjusted it and is now after 400km loose as hell again... What do you think the corse could be??? starts with C ends with M and has a A in the middle?

Can we start again with the photo below, top left you can see the broken spring pokeing out from the big cog the bust off bit on the ground. step by step can some one tell me how to get at it to replace and as I believe it is one of 3 in there which one is it, as in what part do I ask for at the shop?
  18. awesome aye, 52 it had a single carb, then they tried injection but it wasnt so great so like the V8 they went one carb per pot, it did take a 1st or two but handling due to the crank, fly drive shaft caused it to do weird shit, much like the V7-V11, note the pigie back electrics etc on the gear box to keep the length down, also with the dust pan fairing which is the kit I am building the fuel tank was in the side panels of the fairing... cool aye
  19. its a four cyl... and 500cc from 53 ;-) ps when I get my bloody glasses back Ill be able to see the fuker again and do more work on it
