  1. There is a battary issue as well... now the starter just clicks at the solanoid, if ya push start it fires up, turn it off and it will start on the starter severay times then nothing again. When the starter is turning it is loud and rattly dry sounding.

  4. hey man... best oil for a 80's bike... is a 80's oil, quality 20/50, well thats IMHO re batt best see ya local dealer either battary or guzzi parts guy, just got a yuasa of my parts guy 300 but sooner pay that than 150 for a shitter.

  7. ohhh thats lots a parts in there... my movment is like on the spline or axel sideways movment of the hole dif part #1 above, I cant get to the bike till the weekend to have another look so Ill get back to yas then, cheers all

  9. well the wheel has to come out soom for a tyre, anyone got an exploded view of all parts at that end of the bike?

Ummm bit odd never noticed it before... does your V11 have movment with the finel drive casing ie it slides left to right that is away from the swing arm to wards the hub and back... just that another one I looked at has no movment and as I have just had the wheel out wondering tho I dought it if I miss placed a spacer???

RIGHTOOOOooooooooooo... court is in sesion, here is my beliefs its a 2003 Lemans, less the fairing swaped for a early scura style painted to match the later scuraR and the indercator lenses have been swaped for clear ones (hey I swaped mine for smoked. NB the blue adjuster knob on the rear shock, that matchs the forks so Im thinking the front end is stock there fore not a Ohlins equiped Corsa.
  14. wouldent be the 1st time MG through a bargin bin spesial togeather... does the fairing sit forward of the forks or tucked back in? looks in to me telling me its a older frame or front end, does it look like the holding bolts have been moved ie damage by tools, cant see mine from here but if it was a LeMans I would think the old fairing mounts would be obvious.
  15. Cafe and Ball have bars not clipons, lemans have orange indercators... puzling do the pork chops and rocker covers look like they have been repainted? A beter side on pic might help. the fairing on a cafe or ball sit forward of the bike were a earler small faired 11 sits more snug and IMO beter... Im thinking a Lemans (not corsa) with a different fairing, 2nd choice a mongrell LOL
  16. Lugs... if its in the shop get a leak down test done first, duno if ya seen a thread by me reguarding similer issues on a cafe sport v11 turned out to be worn valves. IMO we went of topic on the balance pipe.
  17. tank vent blocked, that will do it... they breath thro the key hole I think and or the other orefiss next to the drain.. i think LOL cant be buggered moving to look

  20. OI... explain guys, why do people rid of the front ballance pipe? Its odd cos the very 1st LeMans had it, then they tried it in different places BUT the very last LeMans has it back again... tells me theres something in it???
  21. so how would we corectly tune the fueling with hacked up oxy censors and dodgy air flow censors etc give me carbs were I can fit a larger get and increase the fuel mix???
  22. GOTCHA ya bastard... exhaust valves burnt out big time, and the inlet aint to well either... how did this shit happen?

  24. I know what the problem is... Im thinking, 2-3mm gap due to a burnt out exhaust valve, and the inlet not seated to well.. am I right or am I right ;-)
