and end caps and be sure wires seated all the way into coils. battery ground connections. true I do remember seeing a section of plug cap missing so those with pod filters have never had tuning issues?
-
Yeah so today I dug it out and noted that the batery sits in a bolt on cradle which has been removed from the cafe sport and also noted how the air box was placed, I was mixing up my 1100 sport with the v11 so a look reminded me. anyway... no one has offered advice as to why this bike missis badley over 5000rpm bad batt un tuned pod filters other?

MG never put the battery under the tank correct? next issue then is how the hell did it sit under the seat? mines in a steel cradle but this cafe shows no sign of one missing, are the air boxs the same as other v11's Need some help on the filters guys, should that breather be shoved up the pod like that? how does this effect the tuning? Like I said id runs like a bag a shit over 5k, needs to be sorted, who has a well tuned v11 with pod filters here?

CS under the tank, is that normale? air box removed, not a idea I like but its ex Japan and that lot seem to love wrecking shit... I cant figger why you would bin two nice carbon fiber side covers for dumb arse pod's. thing is it runs like a hunted shit house over 5rpm's is this a/ no air box b/ ballsed up TPS c/ electrical like a dud batt d/ all of the above e/ something else we will be after parts, like side satnd, starter button block, air box, side covers, disc pad split pins and more... were you guys recomend? photos attached, this batt thing has me buggered, more to come

ahh shit, seems my post above is all ballsed up, ill try again. ok so IIRC the link pipe does help with performance, odd thing is a early engine has the link were the last of the V11's do and inbetween they have ried all sorts a positioning. bikelee... try this works mint for me. loosen all headed bolts and link pipe. gunge the link pipe wit a exhaust sealent get a rachet tie down thingie and put it around the two headers at the most forward part tighten the crap out of the ratchet tighten all bolts let sealent dry over night and or a quick run up to gain some heat for curation. remove tie down sorted till ya need to remove the cove under.

yeah I know andy re the tidest comment... mechanical is what I ment aswell as altho I have not seen the bike yet just odd at 40k that it has had a clutch, cam and suroundings, starter motor etc, on pick up the starter button shat itsself... suspisious at the best I is the scot in me.

Well a friend sold her bike a couple a months back and I was hassling her about a new one something like a FVR750 would suit maybe a cheap 800. Anyway a V11 poped up on line for sale at a decent price be it not the tidest, I was joking about her buying it... well she did. So as she will most likely join up here soon lets get a list together of all the issues she will have, the money she will wast and the KM's it will take to relise what she has gone in bloody done.

Hey so got this new book Guzi the compleat history by colombo in the weekend and been reading... and dribbling at the photos, any way seems even in the V11 range engines differed fly wheels etc, aparently some spin up quicker that others, same hp tho, cant say I have noticed.

Can I asume corectly that up to the V11 all 1100 engines were the same? and inlighten me here I also asume the sport and V11 engines are the same. Any specs I have read here 1100's carb or inj are all 91Hp?
