any temp from riding out the drive to riding back up Yeah thhats what Im looking at, usually do it my self but figgered if it has to go to the shop for the TPS then any info I could give them would be handy. Now correct me if I am wrong... but ALL V11's have a wee miss at 2800 aye? I am only asuming so cos my 1100i sport had it and they were knowen for it, again I asume MG did not sort this glitch even with a new ECU... or am I wrong?
-
I did not explain that one well... the hiss is the backfire through the injuction same sound as a badly timed carb engine when it back fires through the carb. The only reason it does this is the miss it has at 2800 if I so happen to up shift then the miss becomes a back fire. Now with my 1100i changing the eprom chip helped but you cant do that with the V11, maybe the TPS has slipped making my issues worse than usual?
-
Ok now I know they are knowen for that bloody miss, hell even my 1100i sport missed a beat at 2800rpm... but the v11 is now doing it at 2500rpm and constently hissing through the induction in gear changes at that rev. Yeah not an issue on the open road but in town... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh whats the fix people?
-
Ok, been thinking about it... if we are to really replicate the bike Tenni rode the V8 then the SE needs a silver/polished tank, and the pipes should be duel all the way and either under the bike or under the seat... maybe one of each.
-
well there ya go aye! ya do learn something every day... wouldent mind seeing a pic of this Guldborg gun LOL
-
Ya... tis what I was thinking, that it wouldent work. Hey now... the word "zerk" by this you are meaning the nipple aye? you know the knobby bit ya push the grease gun over? I ask this out of interest, a US term for what we down under call a "nipple"
-
The rear and center (spline) nipples are a piece a piss to grease up... we are talking about the frount uni nipple, so no ones had a crack at drilling a hole like the sports have?
-
NOW... what is it with Guzzi and going backwards? ok so my 1100i sport had a hole in the guard around the front uni, so remove the 2 screws that hold the rear master on and bamo... straight in with the grease gun. However with my 04 V11 there is no acsess hole on the guard... so with great dificalitys and the rear wheel out I can get a needle point tip on a flexy hose in if and ONLY if the uni is in the right position, this meaning its a 2 man job. So... I have considered drilling a hole in the guard around the front uni as acess... anyone done this?

Ok then Id like to regester my Suzuki FXR150 as a Nero Corsa wana be This is my F4 race bike knowen as a bucket due to them being built up from a bucket of nuts n bolts based on a max of 150cc comuter bikes. www.bmrc.co.nz This bike has: race CDI worked cams race piston T rings ported XL carb megaphone pipe AND... a repilca nero corsa paint job
-
Man... this threads become slow, did I say something wrong? Ok, I wana show you mob my 'other' Nero Corsa... wana see more?
-
bastard thing is, it was a brand new rod (factory) but a after market +1mm piston with T rings... the piston failed you can see in the pic the impruities were it broke in half, in fact there were air bubbles in it aswell. So re sleaved the barrel and now run a std piston... ohh and I replaced the rod again to, alobg with every thing else but the head (rod poked out the top and bottom of the casings)

With NZ made cans, smoked indercators and a tinted high lip screen its done me well with 35,000km on it. Hey anyone know how many of these things were built? Ok I tell a lie... its given me some shit, Injectors got out of wack, spring in the gear box broke and relay issues... ohh and hers a pic at a rally last year.

Hey all... so a mate has fried his 1100 griso ECU in a rather spetacular fashion, water may have been the issue. Anyway he needs a ECU soon as (his missus is gona kill him if he keeps bugging her and cant get out to ride) 2nd hand or new... anyone with some contacts? Also, wasnt there a griso only forum out there somewere?

Ok so i reckon it is a mandello side covers wont fit due to pod filters... but the Oll gezer would like to find out what number RM it is so as he can make up a plate for each side. How many of the RM's were built and were they all numbered?
