  1. now after I got home I checked out the basic wiring, all seems ok, put relays back as ther were cos I swaped them about.... well went out for a spin and the bike was slugish in the gear changes, and on the shut down of the throttle it back fired a lot, also idle seems to be down... never done that before even with the after market pipes on it. But nearing home it seemed to come alright again.... buggered if I know???
  2. Ok..... out riding today and the bike just stoped mid flight, restarted ok so mosied on. However 1hr later it died again.... no fuel pump and I expect no spark. So I figered it was the same prob as my 1100i sport had with the relays..... would this be so, after 8yrs I would have thought the prob sorted... maybe not. Any help you lot can offer?
  3. Seen the movie Seen the real thing haul arse at the track... what a bloody awesome sound, go to this link http://community.webshots.com/album/296325135CUQmiB for pics As for the movie shit it was good, very Kiwi like tho, we have a odd sorta humer about us. A def to see if you havent already
  4. Ever since new the V11 Lemans has had a miss at 2800rpm, I expect that this is normal just like the rough running at 4000rpm on my old sport... but that was fixed by a after market eprom chip. So is there a similer fix for the V11? or do I just put up with it.
  5. Here we are then... the old Guz and the new. any one have any idea how many Nero Corsa's were built?
  6. Man... you have some fine Scotch tast buds there, Laphroig yummie I'm sinking a Talisker at the mo Ok... it was the cable at the bottom end, it was replaced under warante with a differant cable... it dosent have the right angle bend in it as it exits the gear box.
  7. Well this thread has been very interesting, and since my 1st post I have learnt a bit on the V11 to..... and I have changed my mind re: last real Guzzi
  8. Hmmm..... looks like I have my 1st warrante claim, the speedo on my V11 LeMans has stoped... the bike has done 1573km in the last month. Is this a common fault? or a one of? I am expecting the cable has broken, but then knowing my luck the drive in the box proberly fell off
  9. That might be true Pete... but thats what we, well I love about Guzzi. Guzzi has always been far from complete, and what worries me is that the Griso and Breva will be a more complete bike. I think as far as the transverse Vtwin goes the Griso and Breva is looking like the biggest step away from Guzzi as we know it.... therfore I am very happy to have what I might end up calling the very last true 'Moto Guzzi'

  12. Ok, so I heard a rumer that there are to be no more LeMans to be built and a guy I know recently had a look through the factory, and he said he saw no lemans parts anywere...... surley the Breva and Griso arnt all that is to come out of Guzzi, hell the name 'Lemans' is synonymous with Guzzi how could they drop it... or is this just a load a bollocks??? ps: no crusers were spoted either

Hi martin, Ventura is great always had them on my bikes. I have no pics of the V11 packed up but here s my last bike which I pack the same as the Guz. -rack faces rearward (sits on seat otherwise, wont fit down) -seat cowl off -pack faces forward -No pillion,s but if I was to I'd face it rearwards) -I'd expect so, so never tried (dosent make sence to) -no, but have seen it done looks very stable and safe ps: note the sport rack/bag, awesome for day rides (seat cowl on).

Yeah mate Ohlins all round and carbon fiber... the cans are local made Neptunes black stainless ovels. Price.... check this out, was $27k (nz) they droped all Guzzi's down to $17k I herd this and went in but all were sold.... just had 2nd handers for $20k, mate rang me the next day and said they have one more new.... fuking sweet and it was the Nero, raced in there in disbelief and said thats my bike They did a deal with the Guzzi factory to drop the prices as there were 20 V11 Breva's due in and they needed the floor space. heres a pic showing the Corsa paint, and the cans.

    New Kiwi

Hey all, just picked me up a new V11 Nero Corsa the other week..... couldent believe my luck as NZ has only ever had the Rosso corsa's. So I have no idea were this one poped up from but I aint complaining. Speaking of the Nero... I have only ever seen it pictured on a US web site, so how many of the Neros are about??? The nero is my 2nd Guzzi two years ago I sold a 1100i sport that I had for a couple of years and before that a CX500 Turbo. Just sold a VTR1000 Firstorm and I have to say its bloody good being back on a Guzzi. Just did the National Guzzi Rally and took out 'best modern' award, the rally was 400 odd km's away so I had a chance to enjoy the bike.... just awesome it was
