  1. SCRATCH that... Marty just rocked up with Meinolf's maps 41 and 42... Now I did not notice much of a differance with 41 abd it might just be in the head re 42 feeling a bit lighter come resposive. I have just been seat a the pants dyno riding it up and down the road (country road) but am about to head out for a decet wee spin through some hills. As for the 15RC the laptop still wont read it so dont know what the settings are... does any one know what the std ecu setting is with the co cencor, mines now at 48 which Im thinking is a lot richer than stock.
  2. Well... thanks to Scud I just removed my 15RC for a 15M titanium race... YES what a differance, after 65000k of putting up with the 3k stutter and rough gear changes at 4k... THEY ARE GONE. Now this is with air box in and open pipes. Next is to perswade Marty to bolt his ecu in with a Meinolf map... and see if there is any more diferance, question for you Meinolf, how do your maps differ from the guzzi tit race map? Then... I will try the differant ecu's with velosity stacks and pods...
  3. nice, like those tail lights... have you replaced the rocker covers? and how well does it run with pod filters? mine just wont.
  4. seems to be a lot of different ideas about, typical guzzi what works for one dosent for another... Hey Paul, as above I have changed the exhaust (under belly) on my bike which hasent upset the tuning much how ever when i put the pod filters on which have alloy velosity stacks made up to similer measuments as the air box ones... the bike misfires badly at low to mid range, do you have asny ideas on sorting this? remembering I think you have a 15M were as I have a 15RC I do have a Titium racing ecu comming my way think its a 15M would that be an option?
  5. Roy, tried sending you this PM but ya inbox must be full or something... hey roy, 1st question, those red covers on your filters, are they to keep the rain etc out when parked or do you run with them on? Now real reason, I have changed the exhaust on my bike which hasent upset the tuning much how ever when i put the pod filters on which have alloy velosity stacks made up to similer measuments as the air box ones that you run... the bike misfires badly at low to mid range, how have you tuned your bike to run well? remembering I think you have a 15M were as I have a 15RC
  6. Hi Meinolf, it is my bike that Marty was talking to you about... I only want to do it really for the full cafe look, as you say not worth the hassle even tho I know a few guys whos 11's run well with pods.
  7. well... im back on the band wagon again, trying to get my 04 V11 to run on a open pipe and pods... now all those I know who have this set up, there bikes run good but they have the 15M ECU, its programable, aparently the 15RC isnt or there are no maps for it... anyone have info on this?
  8. Yeah hey all.... ok so in the process of fitting pod filters up on velosity stacks, already have a under slung exhaut on, but trile run today and the things back firing through the TB's, MartyNZ came round and we reset the TPS it was out a bit, but its still doing it... what do you guys do that have done this mod to the airflow sensor and oxy sensor??? That I still have re plumbed into the new muffler, but could it be causing me issues?
  9. I didnt build it, it was built 10yrs ago by the owner of a rosso corsa, aparently there are 3 chambers in it, he had 4 goes at it in order to get the sound and performance right. heres a pic of the doner bike which has now been put back to stock for sale...
  10. ok, changed the exhaust round again to this very nicely built muffler...
  11. ohh and Marty... yeah ya can have the bust one, and just looked at the old thread of mine from the 1st time it broke, interesting its in a different spot, and it wasent 2014 it was way befor then duno what the deal is with the date I guess about 2009, that one lasted 20k this one 40k the new one...???
  12. There are some good pics posted by BelfastGuzzi here http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16872&st=0While you have the side plate off, why not look at Lucky Phil's improvements http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19547 This spring seems to have a short life. I see that you posted a question about this in 2014. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18737&hl=spring Can I have your old broken spring? I'm going to try to make a different spring arrangement that will last longer. Maybe a pair of lighter springs, or an extra turn on a spring made of similar wire, or use better material. Marty sorted, just needed to think about it simple really, at the point of the post I didn have the replacement an hour later I did so its all back togeather, under slung exhaust fitted and tail tidyed... next the verlosity stacks...
  13. bloody ell... hey cant remember how the spring closest to the gear shift input sits? photos anyone?

  21. well.... had a go at the under slug yesterday but need some fixings so as Im of to a rally next weekend I didnt want to get in the middle of something and get stuck, so its back to stock for now... 25. two inlets from the factory headers and the gills are on both sides, 3 internal chambers two baffled. The guy that built it had 4 goes at getting it right, he also made the intake trumpets in the photo tuned to the muffler, that was 10yrs ago... we will see how it works on my bike in time to come
