  2. bloody magic bjorn, now will I need to replace a gasget there? the seal that I will need to replace is it on the part that is removed or in the rear casing? looks like you had a leak judging by the blistered paint under, hopfully Ill find the same

  6. well that was a piece a piss, cant believe them wee pivot bolts is all that holds it togeather... and the last time I disconected a rear shock was my CX500 turbo and it was under load the V11 was as free as. new thread here http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19101&hl= now as there is a new issue... of course "sigh"
  7. Ok due to a leaking clutch slave Its gota come out... swing arms out and now the bloody under sub frames in the way. Do I have to remove it cos theres a lot a shit attached to it like the pork chops, rear brake, the stand Im using to suport the bike... Will the slave casing drop down or does it need to come out backwards cos if so the frames gota a go?

  11. ummmmm.... in a word NO, 190 will not fit between the diff and arm, yip I did the deal was more concerned bout the whell in place never gave it a thought that ya gota get the farking thing on 1st

  14. yeah i know farking tyre thread and no doubt its been done,,, just that i was given a bearle used set of soft metzlers of a r1... sill not to use em so the fronts on but the rear is a 190/50 not 180/55... no issues there tho aye, still black and still goes round n round

  19. all right, them farking Iti's designed a engine were to replace the slave cyl for the clutch... ya gota remove the swing arm... hows it done guys? wheels out I see the lower shock bolt and them big bastards on the pork chops... now what?

  21. and you did all this with the swing arm in place? SteveS makes arm removel sound easy... but Id rater not knowing my luck, the spring would proberly pop out and Id loose it in the shingle on the drive

  25. anyone been into there clutch slave? as per my 'mystery of the disapearing fluid' thread its time to sort this shit. now with wheel out etc im really after a little help, as per photos were do I go from here, looks like a plate with the bleed nip and fluid line going in the top, now note its a different shape to the bolt pattens, im thinking theres been different slaves over the times... now if i am loosing fluid down here what do I actually need to replace.
