Yep. That's one of the last of the V11 Sports. The "all red" paint was an '04-only deal. They came with the LeMans clipons. Ohlins-equipped Cafe Sports only came in the champagne color, except for the Coppa Italia version that was tricolore. Ballabios were available in red, but had a grey tail.

anxious to see how this new engine performs... too bad this white Griso didn't get a black frame...

approaching 12k miles on my Nero Corsa and the fork seals are still sealing... I let my Sport 1100 sit for a few months last year and its seals started weeping... I do wonder if sitting causes them to go away quicker ??? Hmmm...

That's a good question, because the Veglias on my other Guzzis have performed flawlessly, whilst the trip odometer on my Nero Corsa quit at about 10k miles... I always liked the white-faced Veglias, anyway...

Thanks Sean, The bike is still available and I welcome serious inquiries... A few guys have been emailing me, but no one has "shown me the money", yet... Rode it about 150 miles today. Fayetteville to Joplin, and back with my friend, Craig... It really is a nice ride, especially at a "SPORT-touring" pace...

I ended the auction early. I'm not liking the current Guzzi Ebay market. Two hours to go and no bids with a low $7,250 opening bid. The bike is still available and I will entertain SERIOUS offers. Otherwise, I'll be enjoying this kickass Moto Guzzi for a while longer...

A nice Tenni auction ended this morning. Max bid was $4,869.09 My bike probably isn't going to sell. Again. That's OK. It's a helluva sport-touring mount...

Well how do you like that ?? Max bid for the Nero Corsa was only $7,150... Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value = $8,635... My reserve was only $7,995... I guess I'll be keeping it for awhile... Anyone wanna buy an FCR41/Staintune equipped Sport 1100 ???

OUCH !!! Well spending some time at the track is probably a good way to work that out... Getting past target fixation is a tough one... Squelching memories of a bad crash can be tough, too...

That pretty much covers it. Just curious. I've ridden Hallett a bunch. Didn't know if you were taking it easy with the camera on board, or if you were new to the track... I've had a blast with my Sport 1100 over there... Watch out. Track days can be addictive !!!

Yeah, it's not a "want to" thang... The Nero is a sweet bike. If I had eight or ten grand lying around, I wouldn't be selling. That's fer sure... I suppose I could take a loan out on it, but I hate owing money.

If you mean the topcase rack, then yes. You don't have to use it. As far as the turnsignals go, there just isn't enough clearance to leave them in the stock location. The H+B kit comes with a mounting bracket and extra "plug and play" wiring to take care of them...

Not leaving the fold. Still have my '96 Sport 1100 to play with... A garage full of Guzzis is my long-term scheme !!!
