Definately a sweet Lemans! I love those high pipes, but I would be burning myself all the time. BTM for sure. waspp
  2. similar concept but no. ford automotive fittings are close as well. I had to fab a new system as mine were broken off at the tank. waspp
  3. I just returned from a getaway weekend with the wife, we had a great time up in the adirondacks doing nothing. We try to get away a couple of times a year but lately my work schedule hasn't allowed that to happen. It was to cold for the bike but we took a drive in the chevy up through the mountains to Bolton, Sabbathday point etc and found some superb motorcyle roads. I tried to find a local Ural dealer up there but couldn't locate him, I did manage to stop at a couple of dealers in Glens Falls to try on some helmets as I am shopping for a new one. Not being a relatiivist like nogbad I usually attend worship services on Sunday and enjoy the morning with fellow believers in celebration, this week however being away from home we slept in and went out for a nice breakfast. waspp
  4. My son just got his mounted for his SV, he bought the rear at a dealer for $118 and the shipping was $25 for the free tire. Still not a bad deal for a nice tire. waspp

I think rather the housing market is a reflection of economic strength. Growth here in our area is on the rise, communities are growing, school systems are getting larger, and housing is in great demand. Iv'e also noticed this along much of the east coast. If people are chronically out of work maybe they should relocate, lots of work out here. waspp
  10. The smoked lenses you bought should have an amber inner lense so you can use regular bulbs. The lenses I put on my 03 came from a firebolt I think and have a smoked outer lense with an amber inner lense (2 part setup). I would think if you end up needing an amber bulb any good NAPA autoparts store could fix you up. waspp

Actually the economy is doing quite well, maybe you should look at your local and state government before blaming W. Overall unemployment is very low and the markets very strong, here in NY they can't find enough builders and trades people the place is growing like crazy. Its to easy to blame W look a little closer to home. waspp
  13. I have here an Aprilia racing carbon fiber front fender from a mille r, but will bolt right on to any Guzzi with ohlins forks. Some guys use these for better fork leg protection over stock or just to have a different look for their guzzi. Price is $145 shipped in the US. waspp
  14. Somebody makes white overlays for the older guzzi instruments, but they may work for the iti gauges, take a look at guzzitech.com I think its in there somewhere. waspp

  17. THAT bike is so UnGodly ugly, I think jesus would choose recrusifician over riding that beast.
  18. I believe rossopuro (the link is here on this page) sells red annodized parts, but the other items might be more difficult. As many dealers say after you talk to them on the phone about parts..."good luck" waspp
  19. gnome rhome 500cc about 19something
  20. Walnut works great on the block, you can use glass bead media everywere BUT the block. Glass works great on the heads etc and is much faster. The key is to clean clean and then clean after your done to remove any leftover materials. waspp

    Guzzi for sale

I think those are Eldorado handlebars! waspp
  24. nichor, I share your frustration! I am putting together a crashed 03 and finally gave up on factory Guzzi parts. I have managed to just about complete my project with used parts, some cleaver rebuilding of existing pieces and aftermarket. Keep checking ebay, this forums classified section and other Guzzi classifieds. Some dealers that have been the most encouraging are Moto International and MPH cycles. Supposedly parts are ain flowing from the factory but at asnails pace. waspp
  25. I v'e heard good things about the MRA windscreen, in fact I am going to order one for my Rosso. here's a link http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/1862/ waspp
