Tom, you somehow missed the theme of the Rally, "No Dam Excuses", so we don't want to hear it. You missed a pretty dam good one. The next one will be in San Diego this October. www.SoCal-Guzzi.com as the details come together. I'll be posting alot more soon, Todd

Ok folks, The time has come, and the weather's looking good; http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USCA0193_f.html Two important things to note: 1. They are attempting to move our Rally site, to a location on the lower lake. I do not believe that we will be moved, since our contract/permit states upper "7-acre lot". Roger visited the site tonight and he said it looks great. Even though it says "road closed", it is still very passable he told me. Please just look for the small directional arrows (with the Guzzi oval logo) to the site. Registration will be under the Red Bull pyramid tent at the top of the hill, or where-ever we land. 2. Most of the "fun roads" to our destinations have been shut down this week due to the heavy rains. We are still having our rides, but we may leave a little later, and go more direct. Again details here; http://www.guzzitech.com/Todd/SoCalRally2005.html - and be sure to link to the FINAL DETAILS HERE link at the bottom of this page for exact directions/details -or- here; http://www.phpbbforfree.com/forums/viewfor...orum=socalguzzi p.s. You can win one of these laser-etched marble awards if your bike or talent is up to it: Todd

Thanks much. I'll be in touch when it arrives, and as long as I know it's on the way, no problem with the Sat. deadline (everyone). You have one more day to get it in the mail, or online no later then Saturday for the free T-shirt, folks. Thanks to all that have pre-registered. Hands-on PCIII Seminar is from 4-5 p.m on Saturday... and the grounds are secured in the evenings, so getting there just for this will be very tough (no last minute slider-ins). There will be a cheap-$ raffle for a brand new PCIIIusb at the end of the seminar. Be sure to come early and join in on the rides early morning to some pretty cool destination spots... including one to the infamous Guy Webster's private Italian race bike collection at his home in Ojai; http://www.robbreportcollection.com/Articl...-Collection.asp Looking very forward to this, Todd -
SoCal Rally Pre-Reg deadline this Sat., March 12th If you want a free t-shirt, I need to have your pre-registration payment by this Saturday. All details here; http://www.guzzitech.com/Todd/SoCalRally2005.html Well over 50 registered already, so looking to be a very good Rally. Reply direct if you have any questions/comments, Todd

Mike, sorry it won't be done as well. I hope you've been doing a timeline of photos and such, so that I can add your bike to the Retro conversions page on GuzziTech.com; http://www.guzzitech.com/EVCaltoV1100S.html Looking very forward to the Rally, see you there. Todd

Mark, sorry you won't be making it, but that's a pretty good excuse. If you're asking about the San Diego Rally in the Fall, no the dates have not yet been set... but we're shooting to announce them at the First Annual SoCal Rally. You can monitor the SoCal-Guzzi.com phpbb webboard, or the SoCal-Guzzi.com website for most all details. Todd
-
Probably in the ballpark of 100 folks... and the bikes will be some of the best in the country for the bike show. Less then 9-days left for SoCal Pre-Reg... which includes a free t-shirt, post entries will not. All details linked above. Todd MGNOC SoCal Rep

You U.S. West Coasters... missed two great track days, Friday was Sears Point/Infineon and Laguna Seca (Home of MotoGP) yesterday. Beautiful weather made for a great (200 miles on track!) day. Red Shift now has its own website; RideRedShift.com Next day is ButtonWillow on March 28th... the day after the First Annual SoCal Guzzi Rally (see post under this heading), which we're supposed to be having a fairly large Guzzi turnout leaving from the Rally. Questions/comments, please e-mail me direct (not PM). ToddGuzziTech.com Replace the with @

From my dyno-tested experiences... Yes. ToddGuzziTech.com

I've done numerous dyno tests on both the Cal motors and V11S'. My documented Cal mods on GuzziTech shows gains for each mod done; http://www.guzzitech.com/EVPower-Todd_E.html - this holds true on most all V11S motors I tested as well. Contrary to beliefs, I tested the Sport-i, Daytona RS, and Centauros with modded airbox -VS- individual pod filters and saw NO appreciable gains. Best bet is to go with a lidless stock airbox. There are many discussions on why pulling intake air from a stilled-air plenum... that even Ferracci sticks to ***though I did see in Moto-Euro about (mis)claims by Ferracci about ind. pods***, call him and ask his opinion direct for reinforcement. Best bet always is intake and exhaust mods at the same time, as stated by jimbemotumbo above as well. My $.02, ToddGuzziTech.com

David, sure shaping up to be a good one. SoCal Rally mandatory Pre-registration for Sat. dinner and free t-shirt, is must be received NO LATER then March 12th. http://www.guzzitech.com/Todd/SoCalRally2005.html See everyone there, Todd -
Guys, sorry... I guess my post has thrown many into a tail spin with me being out of town for nearly three weeks (with nearly no e-mail access). What I'd like to do, is to trade it with someone who is interested is a swap and a few bucks for a stock seat. Remember, Rich does his mods to a stock seat, so I would like to keep a back-up. I'd have no problem shipping my seat, then you can ship yours when mine arrives. Otherwise, I'll just run down the list in the order received if I get no takers on the above offer. Please e-mail me direct (not PM); ToddGuzziTech.com - replace with @.

Folks, please don't delay registration on this if you think you're coming. I need an accurate head count for the catered dinner, and the included (if you pre-register) t-shirt(s). Thanks, and hope to see everyone there. It's going to be an experience not to miss. Be sure you're there... trust me on this one. Todd -

I'm going to have one of his seats available shortly off my '02 Le Mans. E-mail direct if you're interested, else it's headed to eBay, ToddGuzziTech.com

Just letting folks know that I'll be in Daytona Beach on business with limited e-mail contact (no it's not for Bike Week as some are assuming - which is the end of Feb.). I'm posting so/that if you're around the area... have some free evening time, and would like to sit and chat Guzzi, let me know direct: ToddGuzziTech.com
