I may want to keep the original stock and not drill it. So the next owner would have option to return to as it came from the factory. just thinking ahead, I don't even have the 01 Sport yet.. that in mind are there any luggage racks, bag mounts available? Also, is there a chance to find a Stucci type fairing?

If I wanted bars instead of clip ons would a Centauro top triple clamp fit a V11?

Docc, I don't have any more info just a fuzzy pic. The owner is well off and down in Florida till late April. He has an RSV and 850t turned into a sweet V7 replica that money was no issue wHen built. He takes care of his stuff but all of them have low miles, I don't know how low. It's said he wants to sell them all in one deal which I probably can't swing so not sure I'll even get the chance to buy. I'm just trying to be prepared when the time comes. They look similar but a wire hair pointing Griffon is not the same as a GWP. I hope he's a fearless retriever but I'll have to wait and see, he does point at the chickens next door. I've done a lot of shooting with him nearby and it doesn't bother him a bit, my passed Lab was gun shy.

In a word, Roadcrafter! I have crash experience and it saved me from serious road rash and maybe worse. I believe they have the best armor, TF something..it's soft until impact then indestructible. but yeah, an airbag vest would be even better.

A hose clamp can secure the filter from unscrewing. Seen here in a flat sump but the principle can be applied to your hanging oil filter.
