1. Still Italian at least, a pic says a thousand words
2. The fact that it has a wheelbase 8" shorter than a v11 and probably all the carc bikes too. And 400#. Traction control and ABS
3. I got new to me hyperstrada.
4. Scurra
5. At first I was like " why paint a greenie?" But your scheme looks pretty nice.
6. That is the anti tamper bolt that goes into the bottom of the Ignition switch or it's mount. Its meant to be not removable . They screw it in then snap the head off. It's not easy to remove but sometimes they loosen up and fall right out.. I once cut a groove in one to get it out with a screw driver.
7. I thought the cure for the cough was to bin the stock crossover and put on a Mistral.. that's what I did and thought it was fixed.. sadly I no longer own it.
8. Better yet ask Pete what happens if you ride it hard, do wheelies and run full bore up hill with out the plate.. so not knowing how it was ridden by previous owners I chose not to buy.
9. now on ebay' https://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Moto-Guzzi-V11-Sport/173880269948?hash=item287c125c7c:g:3R4AAOSwOT9cvQ4T
10. Unknown history with at least two owners, no Roper plate.. not willing to take that risk having seen the other bikes he's selling, an Eldo sold a ratty SP project and a nice looking Ducati with lower fairing removed..I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling when there.
11. I've seen it and could only yawn.. if it were a greenie I'd want it more
12. Yes the starter from MGcycle will fit any v11 or Tonti frame big twin.
13. To me it looks like a Bassa not EV. Or in later years (2001?) known as a special sport.. late to the party but what's all the discussion over what starter fits? Both the Tonti and V11 big twins use the same Valeo starter.

15. Why did you take off the headers? Check plug wires/caps.. are they seated in the coils nice and tight.
16. what color will you use?
17. I would loan you my alignment tools that includes a clutch hub.. send an email to me at fotoguzzi@yahoo.com. and I can mail it to you if you will send back when finished. Are going to lube the splines?
18. You can search eBay for sold listings but it doesn't have many V11. https://www.ebay.com/sch/Motorcycles/6024/i.html?_from=R40&_fosrp=1&_nkw=moto%20guzzi%20v11&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684 But you could take sold prices from some of the other models and compare those to NADA prices to prove they don't align? I would also try and be a real thorn to the adjuster if you can contact him, explain how these bikes are on a collectible ladder and you planned to keep it as investment, show him a couple sold ads for a1000s as example He won't know the real differences..? Have him just try to find a replacement for anything close to that low figure. If you can't find one in that range how can he justify that amount? Also have you told them your riding gear and boots were destroyed too and you want pain and suffering money? You can work this if you don't give up.
19. In an airplane?
20. 68, Wisconsin is God's country, you should come for a Visit!
21. Buy it but get a Miata for your daughter. You could spend that much setting up a good hack and you'd have a roof for when it rains. Plus it's safer.
22. Wow, if I still had a v11 I'd be all over that!

24. I thought the TPS should be set around 520mv at idle after setting the base line at 150. Memory sketchy but how are you coming to that TPS value?
