  1. ebay will give you a value, if you use a reserve you won't have to sell for what you consider too low.. listing a vehicle is flat rate on ebay (was $65. for a motorcycle) and you get that refunded if it doesn't sell. there is not a percentage charge if sold, just the listing fee. the idea of implanting a a Nevada 750 would be cool, or could you fit all the body work to a newer SB like the Stone? Oh and Jumcc, good job digging up a 9 year old thread, this board rocks!
  2. I think that fairing came on some Tonti frame Guzzi like the 1100 Titanium, and theres this across the pond. http://gutsibits.co.uk/pr/TheShop/index.php?f=e&Shnew=&Model=4&ModelName=Cali+3&Cat=FAA&CatName=Fairings+and+Screens&Sort=TitleDesc
  3. Yikes! sticker shock.. and it's ugly.. what ill you do with it, mount a big box?

    Remap

what he said, find the trim tabs and see what it's set at, there's a pretty wide variety in settings like -138 to +138 or something, I don't really remember much, maybe +20 was good for my V11..
  6. anti seize..
  7. perfectly stated.. you need gorilla arms to fit the sport 1100, 99-01 early red frame was twitchy as stated, it surprised me when I rode one while owning an 02.. the 02 and on were the perfect all day ride..with a little personal touch like bar risers.. some like lowering the pegs..
  8. the 1100 Sport has the clunky 5 speed.. the v11 Sport/LeMans has a sweet 6 speed.. both have 1064cc motor.. CPU also different.
  9. I have used the Harley TPS in both a V11 Lemans and Bassa.. I highly doubt you could tell any difference WHEN RIDING which TPS is installed. for me it was a no brainer $42 vs $300+
  10. this one NFS, I tried to get it but he won't let go.. HIGH miles but a good one.. dig that Quat D muffler..
  11. That looks like a Sport not a Lemans.

    Rear hugge

back in the day there was a guy making simple plastic panels that fit in the frame to plug the vital areas and then you could just remove the hugger. I did just that.
  13. wish I had a real table lift.. [/u rl]
  14. check the mounts where the front frame down tubes bolt to engine for cracks if it was crashed.. also where the kick stand mounts to sump spacer.
  15. on my Guzzi's I never saw anything that needed cleaning inside the TB's.. on our Mazda Tribute yea, the butterfly got all gummed up and made the throttle pedal hard to push.. a rag and carb cleaner is all I used.
  16. Just for kicks here's another video from the I cycle derby this year.. disclaimer: I'm not involved with this hooliganism in anyway.
  17. it must be winter..
  18. I know of that Champagne V11 and it's pretty pristine.. the owner (Alan) flew in to Mpls and I drove him out to Wilmar Mn to buy it.. He then rode straight home to Co. when we started it up, oh my lord that sound..GLORIOUS! I was kicking myself for not being the buyer. w/under 10k miles the price is right in my book and if I had $$, I'd get it..
  19. reverse cones look better, mine had a raspy NASCAR TYPE SOUND. oval sound better deeper tone.
  20. what he said!
  21. I was thinking Norge or something newer than a V11..
  22. for me? there's Bob Dylan and everything below that is second shelf.. I maybe said that 9 pages back..but that's alright ma I'm only Bleeding..
  23. or, just ride and clean when it bothers you.. you won't loose enough oil to matter between changes.. mine misted from the timing cover gasket ever so slightly..
