yes at least get the crossover, it is the weak spot in stock set up. it fixed a hickup/cough I was having around 3200 rpm.. after that I added the reverse cones, probably cut 20 pounds of the bike.

could you have baxked into something? happenend to me once unloading from a trailer and it struck something. I fixed it with the pieces and JBWeld.

I do not need a Power commander just good tuning with VDST.

I don't like the look of any of the canisters so went with the reverse cones, I'm very happy with them even if they don't sound as deep as some cans.. sounding a little like a formula 1 race car (not Nascar). build quality seems very good to me.. when I went with the Mistral cross over it was said to be better performing in the lower rev range and the Stucci supposedly better top end.

Keith, that seat is really nice looking along with the whole bike! wish I was able to buy.. I hear what your saying about the Tuono!

why don't you think the forks would fit? I think they will if you use the triple clamps too..

Ben, I put a low ball offer on a DD before landing this buy.. pretty glad I didn't get it, CHAIN AND ALL. this B is 90 RWhp with a tight belt, next best thing to a DShaft. Plus I got full HD service contract ($50. deductible/unlimited miles) until July 30 2016 ! But, I imagine the corner exit torq is even greater on a Tuono, what fun! I'd trade it for the V4 in a minute if it had the upright relaxed riding position. I must say the Buell has the same effect as Guzzi.. makes you want to add a second.. I hear EBR will show some street bikes in mid Oct.

OK and Thanks, but is the UFI a good one? what is the best filter ? I'm still using the hose clamp.

what a ride that only a Guzzi could do..your clutch might have stressed a bit but is robust! I think you need a new shift return spring.. I carry spare one with me, so far didn't need to use it. the 2002 models are known for the weak spring. (and bubbling engine paint)

Whew glad it went back on, that's why mine has never been unthreaded.. plus the hose clamp thing. it's the Guzzi doohickey..
