  1. Ben, I put a low ball offer on a DD before landing this buy.. pretty glad I didn't get it, CHAIN AND ALL. this B is 90 RWhp with a tight belt, next best thing to a DShaft. Plus I got full HD service contract ($50. deductible/unlimited miles) until July 30 2016 ! But, I imagine the corner exit torq is even greater on a Tuono, what fun! I'd trade it for the V4 in a minute if it had the upright relaxed riding position. I must say the Buell has the same effect as Guzzi.. makes you want to add a second.. I hear EBR will show some street bikes in mid Oct.
  2. OK and Thanks, but is the UFI a good one? what is the best filter ? I'm still using the hose clamp.
  3. hope my V11 starts next time. for the last month I've been riding this every free moment.
  4. what a ride that only a Guzzi could do..your clutch might have stressed a bit but is robust! I think you need a new shift return spring.. I carry spare one with me, so far didn't need to use it. the 2002 models are known for the weak spring. (and bubbling engine paint)
  5. that one is still funny and i still don't know what they are saying.
  6. Whew glad it went back on, that's why mine has never been unthreaded.. plus the hose clamp thing. it's the Guzzi doohickey..
  7. Pretty sure you could walk into NAPA or any auto parts store and match them up.. they are not a Guzzi only part.
  8. back in the day (apartment days) I used a tripod, land lady didn't mind previous renter was HD grease bag..
  9. I HAVE a video with the Lemans in the works now.. a visit to the Rock S hop! then I'll make a Uly video..
  10. could not resist this bike, after 1,000+ miles I'm very happy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFeuPWgDB9k&feature=youtu.be
  11. sure the late model big twins have it, Stelvio, Norge etc.. but none of them light my fire.. Aprilia maybe, but right now I like Buell, no ABS but I'm getting lured in,
  12. grease DS but when you do the center zirk--- have the axle in place so it does not expand length of shaft or it's a bitch to get it back in when over full of grease.
  13. I wonder if the reason stainless is not factory in that application has a reason? like heating cooling between the stainless and aluminum head? also the softer aluminum threads will strip before the stud thread, reason for concern?
  14. glad your good to go.. I've heard of doubling up the VC gasket to stop leaking. don't tighten too much, it's easy to strip the threads.
  15. what Roy said, are the ports on the intake manifold either capped or tied to each other with a hose? if those nipples are open it will suck in too much air. other wise it sounds like the TPS set to high, did the shop know how to set the TPS?
  16. I heard Loffgren doesn't do Guzzi's anymore.. I'm very happy with the Mistral over stock.
  17. I saw your CL ad.. mabe you should trade for my Bassa (next best thing to a 1400)?
  18. I fixed the same problem with a Mistral crossover.
  19. those little bullet connectors under tank along left side of steering stem?
  20. I got a used one here for my 02 Lemans.(Thanks, Leon). it's an improvement from stock but not perfect. I'm a little too short to reach butt to the pocket completely.. it's not soft! but the shape is better than stock. and yes the early V11 needed a slightly different seat, I tried to mount one but it didn't fit.. seems more like the latch was different not the front mount area.
  21. must be a Valeo.. but it could be a bad relay?
