  2. I found the Mistral cross over was all it took to run better in the low rev area... no PC for me.. NICE bike! best color, you'll love it.

  6. those rubber boots are pretty thick... when is the last time the valves were checked-adjusted?
  7. there are several older style blue face speedo's on ebay right noe, priced right.. would the older version Veglia work? I think it would.
  8. or go to a bike store and get a sigma speedo, you can calibrate exactly to your tire size and have a perfect reading of MPH.. not some Italian idea of speed.. most of them have a trip meter and odometer for holding real mileage log/.. some you can set that to what is actual on your bike.. don't get the wireless because all that spinning stuff can create radio interference.. and don't get the cheap Bell from Wall Mart because it can't keep up over about 50 mph.. the good ones can clock into the triple digits. bonus! they have a clock, average speed calculation, trip time, top speed etc... I hardly had to think, much less write down any thing and had it all there at the end of the trip..see end of video for stats..
  9. are you loosing oil on the dip stick? my motor gets covered w/oil mist but never really goes down in level. I say just ride it! I did the re torq heads routine but it looks like mine comes from the timing cover gasket.. or maybe I need new base gaskets? but when you say "It's about equal to what always runs down the left side from the TPS." I think you mean the cam sensor.. the tps is in the throttle body..
  10. have you checked the wires and connections just behind the steering head along the frame, under the tank? there is a known bad spot in the wiring connections in that area.

  17. Just met a guy with this Lemans, it runs nice, has 10k, good pirelli's, has had a slow crash, edge of left fairing scraped, he replaced head guard and the sump (sidestand broke it's mount) asking 4k or trade for a 750 Breva.. send me a pm for contact info..
  18. there is a V11 Lemans in black locally,(not a Nero) 10k miles, 2004, I just did a VDST check on it.. $4000. ! guy will trade for a 750 Breva if anyone has interest I can put you in touch. was that your dorso at the Wheel of Italy yesterday?
  19. I would start with the battery connections and the ground strap to motor/frame.. clean and tighten.
  20. on the roadside shot, why did you remove the header, does it have to come off?
  21. thanks a lot for re posting these photos.. I never had a problem but I carry a spare spring.. now I'll print the directions so I will know what to do roadside if it happens to me.
  22. I've been using ipod a lot lately on my bike, mostly hearing Grateful Dead and the Band.
