  1. Angel front? I'm going w/a set of Angels next week.
  2. are you confused by the term base setting? the 150mv is with no throttle stop at all, then you increase to 465Mv (or what ever) with the idle adjusting screw..
  3. Yipee! and I didn't really mean the "this is dumb" part. is it dumb to let your dog drive?
  4. this is dumb.. but is your kill switch activated?
  5. I still can, fn relax, I'm really torn on getting a griso 1100. The great community is leaning me that way, butt the all out hooliganism of the Duke, it sings to me with its siren song well shucks, I thought you wanted the RC8.
  6. btw, are you going on the anti-flood run? I am thinking of joining you if the weather isn't too shotty. I am planning on it! see you there.
  7. ACE hardware has a swivel nozzle attachment for about 6 bucks that worked for me.
  8. I wish I could get this one, http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/mcy/2301219374.html
  9. Glad your back did you see this? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/mcy/2292454177.html

  11. I got 9,000 miles out of my Pirelli Diablo xxxxxxx forgot the model but they don't make them now, should I just get the Angels? whats this Night Dragon? not sure the sport Demon comes in my size but the price is right on them.and the Diablo. give me sage advice but I'm done w/Metzlers.. I can get this Pirelli Rear Diablo 180/55ZR-17 Blackwall Tire for 103.00 US $102.99 * Pirelli Front Diablo 120/70ZR-17 Blackwall Tire or Pirelli Front Angel St 120/70ZR-17 Blackwall Tire 107.00 Pirelli Rear Angel St 180/55ZR-17 Blackwall Tire 140.00
  12. I must be old, got my first Guzzi 33 years ago,
  13. I think it all revolves around your physical size.. If 6 feet or over you can probably handle it fine as a learner bike.. small guy? learn on a smaller bike but the Ducati's you mention might have a little too much spunk as a first bike. have you ever used a clutch? a lighter bike will be easier to learn that part.
  14. Here's the link, sorry.. http://www.poptent.net/media/29225/1
  15. entering a Geico contest w/my latest video..
  16. I don't know the particulars but a few (RM and Scurra) came w/a single plate clutch and don't seem to last as long and the old standby dual plate clutch. I love mine for touring w/HB bags its a pleasure but I ussually leave the top box off, it's like a sail.
  17. need an alternative? these seats look really nice, http://billmayersaddles.com/BMS/Home.html
  18. here's what I think I know from many miles towing behind Tonti frame bikes. 1) best to keep the mount at or below axle height. 2) A long tongue keeps rig from swaying.
  19. Ear plugs?
  20. the VDST can make one setting change and that is the idle trim, it's a rich / lean adjustment for idle. If you have a sync tool like a Twinmax you should hook that up and try raising your idle w/the air bleed screws while keeping the two TB's balanced. have you searched here for throttle body sync/balance and TPS set up? if you do you'll find more than you need to do it all yourself. Oh yea, a good battery is very important to have w/these bikes.
  21. I met these fellows from Norway on the way to Sturgis last summer.. they shipped their choppers to Houston and rode from there.. did a tranny rebuild right in the parking lot. guzzi content, my Bassa in background
  22. no there are not issues with the ECU.. more likely you need TPS set up right along w/a new TB sync. Whats your location? some one nearby may be able to help.
  23. there are throttle stop screws (on each throttle body) that need to be backed out all the way before you set the baseline.
