the PO hacked mine w/a hatchet or something.. the sound is not good, I have stuffed some baffle material in there as I'm too cheap to buy replacements.. wanna trade?

If it won't start then the new sensor has too big or little gap.. If you put it in w/the same space as the original and the bike runs your good to go.. My EV motor in a Convert has too big a gap on the flywheel sensor but it still picks up and the bike runs fine.

been off the forum awhile, missed you guys but i got all wrapped up in my kids high school hockey team.. Yup, the Edina Hornets won the State HS Championship which is huge here in Minnesota "the state of hockey". It's like winning the Super Bowl in High School and the competition is fierce. I was not allowed to shoot the tournament (rules, poohee) but I did shoot the game that got us in.. my kid (#5) scores the 2nd goal in a 3-2 win. if you watch it you can bump up the quality in the pop up, lower right corner from 320p to 720pHD.

Steve Peterson (He was at the brunch) has made some nice stubby pegs from gun barrels, they bolt up in about the same place as your pic.. We should get him to make sets for both of us. Brad

how does it run? lots of vibration at and just off idle? then yes, a tweaking would help that.. if your happy with the ride don't mess with it.

what you really need is a connection to route the coil voltage to the handlebars once the tether gets pulled.. course he'd drop your bike but the wow factor could be worth it.

like the seat and wheels. don't like the chrome fender and unsure of the chromed pipes.. that kind of machine doesn't need chrome in my view.

yikes! over 600.00/ I'll be sticking with stock or some cheapies.. plus they look too high for my HB bag mounts.

my stock mufflers are hacked by the PO..would those work on a V11 Lemans? I doubt it.. any other cheap alternative ideas? I've seen some bad ass ATV pipes but don't know where to get them cheap either.

yep that's my garage.. I offered work space and beds.. that Klaus can have a tire off and changed in about 15 minutes and he carries all his own tools so I just watched. they were amazing.

these two most cool guys spent a weekend here beginning of december. they are riding around the world, (in winter) on 1937 Nimbus sidecar rigs... amazing is too small a word.

UM, it's not even that complex.. the computer never even sees input from the enrichener lever, it just turns a cam via cable and opens the TB butterflies a bit which in turn opens the TPS a little and the CPU sees that as if you had the throttle open the same amount.

trying to picture that...where the tranny splits off? sealant in the oil? my motor has an oil weep somewhere up front, like the timing cover gasket.. it gets oil all over the block up there but never goes down on the dip stick. I should get into it this winter.

I have 15k on mine which is near identical.. BEST GUZZI I EVER HAD! forget the bubbling motor paint, buy it!

yes and they are children these days! the business is shedding the older knowledgeable, experienced journalists faster than you can say layoff... retirement packages are a joke.
