  3. Thanks guys, I added your tips (together with others) to this google map: Google maps: schotland trip 2008 Will post photos when I'm back, thanks again! KiloSjon
  4. My yearly trip across Europe is due next week. This year it'll be Scotland (unfortunately during the international guzzi meeting in Boxmeer, like last year...) The plan is to take the ferry to Newcastle, drive to Inverness and do some touring/sightseeing there for a couple of days. Then via a detour to Edingburgh and a day later back to Newcastle - Ijmuiden. Any tips? Good B&Bs / sights to see / whisky to drink / pubs to visit / roads to corner / etc etc ? Anything will be appreciated, since the starting up of my new company has taken all my energy and attention the last months, so did not have any time to do research and look into it... (and visit / post the V11 forum... ) Thx, KiloSjon
  5. His opinion on motorcycles is highly influenced by his weight... Check out http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWoo82zNUA It is a matter of taste, but I like his programs...
  6. Mine's also in... It is a beauty... My other swiss watch has to sleep on the couch for a while. By the way, interesting to know that "Champagnefodbold belonnet med oprykning til 1. divsion"... ;o) (no crosswords in my danish papers)
  7. Hi Guy, that's spooky... allmost the same picture here (same mountain, different angle?) Unfortunate we did not meet, but who knows, maybe next time...
  8. We'll see, I heard that a lot of postal workers will be or have been fired over the last period, so maybe they have switched to horses now for extra efficiency At least, also this time , you manage to keep the expectations high and the fear-level low. Compliments for that. KiloSjon
  9. ...not all... Admin Jaap and I are still waiting... Takes a long while to cross the channel of Kiel... KiloSjon
  10. Also still waiting, in the Netherlands (not too far away)... Hope there are no Guzzi lovers at the PTT disti center...
  11. It is not a 100% match, the crossover cannot be bolted to the engine and the hangers do not fit (see my custom made hangers. Currently replaced by the TI solution (short 1100 hangers with traingle adaptor). I think it is worth the effort.
  12. Yes, it's from front to back. The system is high quality and very very light. It suited my situation because I already wanted to change my headers and the x-over. They where very ugly thanks to salt on the roads. So when I heard that Paul Minnaert wanted to sell this system, I had a look and bought it. I also saw it on ebay a couple of times...
  13. Hard to find, but a real nice set (originally for the 1100sport): termignoni. From front to rear, if you keep an eye on ebay, you might find them for around 1000$ (including headers, x-over and mufflers)...
  14. I have another question on this subject. I hear a high tick, like a chain tapping. It is in the same frequency as a valve tick, but its "rythm" is varying. It seems louder at 2000rpm with the throttle almost closed. I think it sounds like a disti chain, I had that on my previous bike. Reading this thread makes me a bit nervous, since the advice is to solve it immediately... The question is: how hard is it to replace or adjust the chain tensioner? Does it require the engine to be removed, or is it just removing the alternator cover and the timing cover while the engine is in the frame? I plan to go on a big trip in 4 weeks, so I want to have this fixed asap...
  15. I really love the end result! Good work! (in good v11lemans.com habit: when will you start taking orders?... )
