  1. New, never mounted. Will fit non-Ohlins models. Please note that although the photo shows both portions, this ad is for the FRONT PORTION ONLY. $60 plus shipping.
  2. Looking to replace the gold tapered handlebars on my 04 Coppa. Does anyone know who makes them? Or the dimensions of the bars? I'm particularly interested in the "sweepback" measurement. Ideally I'd like to get something a tad narrower, but with the same sweepback, and of course the same tapered style. TIA
  3. Hi waustin... I think the general consensus is that the later Ballabio style fairing which mounts to the frame steering head causes more turbulance than the earlier one which turned with the headlight. My own experience is that this is the case, and I've taken off my Ballabio style fairing. What year V11 are you looking at? Givi makes several fairings which members have liked, but I'm not sure for which model. Also try a seach of the forum for "fairing" for some more useful info. Good luck with your decision. BTW, take a look at JRT's V11 Sport w/ a BMW fairing. VERY nice (see here) http://www.v11lemans.com/content/howto/fairingmount.htm and I think it is for sale... 4. Gil, Well I am envious. Nice ride and great read. Thanks
  5. Apparently there is a BMW filter that will work also...anyone know the PN?
  6. As always, thanks all... Greg. Unless the tank is from a Nero/Rosso Corsa, I plan on re-painting anyway so paint damage isnt a problem. So I'd prefer light or no damage, but I'd consider anything not extensively rashed.
  7. Thanks Paul. I should clarify that the $400 includes the cost of the used tank AND shipping from a parts breaker. Is there a Guzzi owner anywhere who DOESNT have metric tools?
  8. I've located a gas tank but since its in Europe it will cost about $400 to get it here to the U.S. It does not have the pump, filter or gas cap. Meaning of course that I would have to either: 1. Buy those items and install them. 2. Swap those items out from my Coppa tank to the "new" tank. Can anyone give me some ball park figures for solution #1. If I were to undertake the swap myself, is it a dfficult job or does it require special tools? Or if there is a thread on this already, please direct me to it (I looked). TIA,
  9. Just spent the evening installing a FBF crossover and moving the MG Ti pipes from the high to the low position. They're lop-sided Has anyone else done this? Were your results different? I suspect that the FBF crossover is the culprit.
  10. Thanks Greg. Actually I was asking 'cause I have a spare myself that I'm about to send to another member. Just wanted to be sure before I sent it off. Thanks anyway!

  12. Does anyone know if the hugger from a 01 V11 Sport will fit a 04 Ballabio? PN 01 43 70 30 TIA, Joe
  13. Diligent hard working mature woman, Grand-motherly type. Cooks and sews well. Does light housekeeping and complains very little. Only requires 2 light meals per day. Honest, concientious and always up-beat. Will trade for V11 Sport gas tank-03 or newer.
  14. Hi Coz1100. What kind of bags are those? Cortech?
  15. Tom, Thanks for info. Nice lookin' LeMans. I cans ee the crossover really cleaned up the bottom. Did you have it ceramic coated? Crooz...I'm keepin' you in mind.
  16. My 04 Coppa has the MG Ti, MG Race ECU and stock crossover installed. This system seems just a tad softer than the Leo Vinces and Stucchi crossover I had on a previous V11 Sport. I just recently "won" a FBF crossover on e-Bay, and I'm wondering 1. If the FBF crossover will "enhance" the sound. 2. Is there any advantage to adding a PCIII custom map on top of the MG ECU? Or, if I add the custom map, should I just do that using the stock ECU? As always, thanks for any advice.
  17. Hi Lee, and congrats on your new bike...I take it the Ballabio is called a Billy Bob. Anyway, I'm not yet sure of what I'm doing...and anyway even if I become sure, I sometimes change my mind I have most of the body work already lined up, including a Rosso Corsa gas tank! And yes, I believe that our bodywork is interchangeable. Feel free to PM me occassionally to see if I've changed my mind.
  18. Thanks one and all!
  19. I've only had my V11 for a week. Today I noticed what looks like a small circular chip at the lower left (facing the headlight), at about 8 o'clock. Initially I thought it was a chip, but upon inspection it looks and feels like it was manufactured into the fairing to get to an adjustment screw. I dont know whether to be upset either because the fairing is damaged, or because I didnt notice the "chip" for nearly a week. Can someone please look at their Ballabio/Cafe/Coppa/Scura and tell me. TIA, Joe
  20. Anyone have these for sale? I could also use a seat cowl.
  21. Thanks Savagehenry...Yes it is great to look into my garage and see the V11 setting there. And sometimes I get the feeling that it is looking back at me, all weepy like, and warm inside knowing that we were meant for each other So far I have the following body panels lined up: Fairing/windscreen. Red from a Ballabio Gas Tank. From a Rosso Corsa (New, coming from Italy. I'll probably be dead and buried by the time it arrives) Side panels. From a V11 Several leads on the tailpiece and cowl. Used. Does anyone have experience with Corbin seats?
  22. Okay...okay. Sheeesh. If everybody else is getting one, I want one too
  23. Has anybody tried mounting these on their V11? I think they would make a very nice fit. I would attempt the mount myself except that I'm too busy collecting body panels for my bike. http://www.giviusa.com/caschi_borse_bauli_...asp?CO_ID=18171
  24. Bike arrived today about 3 hours earlier than anticipated. I do have to admit that it seems to look better and better each time I see it Sold my 01 V11 Sport in October 2005 to buy my Ducati Multistrada. Then I sold the Multistrada in May of 07 to buy the Coppa. I'm feeling much better now PS. But the plan is still to pull the Coppa bodywork and replace it with something a little drearier. So I'm looking for a 03 or newer gas tank. Can anyone help?
  25. I think the Napoleons look great with clip-ons, and slightly less so with a tubular bar. Especially a tubular bar with a lot of sweep-back which my Coppa has. I recall somehow mounting a set of Napoleons THRU the lever pivot holes of my 01 V11 Sport, and that looked and worked well. I dunno if that will work with the forward/stationary Ballabio style fairing though. I think the mirrors would contact the fairing edge at full lock. But that is what I intend to try. If the Napoleons through the pivot holes dont work I might try some smallish Ducati (DP) handlebar mounted mirrors, the ones for the Monsters should work well and look nice also. I'll try to link a photo of them soon.
