That is hysterical!

Being of Italian descent and a New Yorker,I must correct you in that this is a New York/North New Jersey accent, not Italian.I've heard Irish,Jewish,Polish and Italian American New Yorkers sound like this. My immigrant Italian relatives,a talka and sounda like dis.I know to most of the rest of the country, we New Yorkers sound like Steve Martin in "My Blue Heaven" or any DiNero/Scorsese/Coppola movie

Hi Vlad, I can help ya out.I PM'ed a while ago but you probably didn't get it. You'll definitely need to balance TB's ,easy, just need a Twin Max,I'll bring mine if we can hook up,and adjust TPS with a DMM. Read this, http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...c=11552&hl= as it was my first time doing a service and a lot of stupid rookie questions but you might get some good info as I was at the same point as you with starting from square one.But youv'e done the valves so step one outa the way! You still may need to go the way of the PC3,Dyno solutions in CT has a great rep and RacerX is the authority on correct maps for PC3's.But the bike needs to be tuned correctly before putting on a PC3.

Could apply this to the V11!

I've been thinking about getting a local to fabricate mounts for a mo-tech set-up from the 919.But with the price of the stock Mo-tech racks(@350.00) and fabrication,it would probably be cheaper to try to get HB to make a run. They already have the rack design, just need to make the quick release mounts for the V11.Figured minimum 10 people interested, would show we're serious. OK that's 2. -
Same here, didn't see anything that would require that the post should be closed.A little testy, but not over the top.Maybe PM warnings to those who he felt to be the offenders. Yet this remains open, with multiple, blatant, guidelines broken,.. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14010,... Personal attacks should not be tolerated, friendly discussions should be encouraged,...

I have a SWMoto quick release system on my CB919 and a Fivestar on my VFR which allow you to remove the racks quickly.Always hated the way that the H&B set-up left the hardware on the bike ruining the great lines of her.The only reason I hadn't bought a set. Hepco is now making a quick release system but not listing a V11 model. If enough of us were interested maybe we could have them make a batch(10-20) through one of our dealers,MPH/MI or directly through H & B. If anyone is interested post here or PM. http://www.hepco-becker.de/_eng/frameset.php Lock_it_Info_E.pdf

Pete when you get sick of those endless twisty California roads you could leave her here in the northeast.Promise my Scura would keep her good company, here in the Catskills. Could you ship into NZ through a dealer and then float it over to Aus?Are the import restrictions between the two looser than coming from the US? -

Welcome aboard eas, Well to all who say that the US version is immune to clutch failure, here's an example of probable/possible disaster. I'd be interested in how you make out as mine hasn't been done yet and has some "sweating" around case gasket. One of those things I just haven't got(avoiding) around to.Didn't know they discontinued the Ram.Anybody know if there is anyone who has any left?Bummer as it had been getting good reviews as a replacement.MI was making a refurbished clutch assembly available, that I would trust over other sources.Peter at Reboot would also be a good used source if you want to go in that direction. Keep us posted on your progress. Michael -
Why not? Isn't this a virtual cafe?If we met up at a local bike night we couldn't discuss politics because it was a bike gathering? As long as everyone is respectful and no one gets personal ,I feel 24/7 is the correct place to chat.I see way too many tech topics here that should be in the tech section, but don't feel a need to request that they be removed. Most of us are lucky enough to live in societies with free speech.Would be a shame if this forum was not one of those places.

I like this meter http://www.digitalmeter.com/cgi-bin/websho...g=configspc.txt ,can't find link but found a comparison of various meters and many of them didn't do well in wet conditions, such as the compacc. Seems like these would fit into the look of the V11 better. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...p;autoview=prod Losing charge at idle is unacceptable, changing to the Euro switchgear may treat the problem but not cure it.
