Before we throw Mistral or Stucci under the bus ,let's confirm which brand this is first. I've always tinkered with my bikes when I stored them in the city,but now that I moved them out of town I do ALL of my own work.I did the valves for the first time a few years ago and they are stupid easy when you've done it once.(I also have a Desmoquattro ST4s,so compared to those it's child's play).No special tools needed other than feeler gauges.Can be done in 15-20 mins.This MUST be done before trying to adjust fueling,if you don't know when they were done last,...or ever!

150mv key on,not running. 465-525 mv at idle varies from bike to bike,what ever makes your bike run smoother,really a balance of TPS,air bleed screws,idle,TB balance ,not EXACTLY the same on every bike

Im with you Simon I'm all about value. I only buy things that are functional and don't care about what people think as cool.When I said bling I meant you bought a high quality piece of gear that you wont have to replace or re-build soon.Dont know what you paid for yours but when I got mine it was several hundred dollars less for a comparable Ohlins,which to me was a good value.

If you haven't disassembled the cover yet, take pictures and mark the wheels with grease or paint for correct orientation and alignment.Transmission and pre-selector should be in neutral position when re-assembling.
