  1. I thought I already had a favorite Postmodern Jukebox song/video, but now . . . I dunno for sure . . .
  2. My, my - that red sport-Norge, @Skip. Reminds of sumpin' . . .
  3. I hesitated to stop for a pic on the even-more-remote single lane bridge I took to the north side of the river . . . There was even a new road in the mix today I had never been on to get to that remote single lane bridge. Always a concern about stumbling onto scary company on these backroads . . .
  4. Flirted with incoming rain today. Got a little wet, but it was worth it . . .
  5. I can write your a Doctor's Note. In fact, I think I just did . . .
  6. In the Gallery, I noticed @paulnaz was sitting at 90,000 miles two years ago. May be close to the Magical American Hundred Thousand, now ?

    Classy!
  8. I plead: Plausible Deniability.
  9. Package deal! > Hey, buddy! Hey . . . I gots this package deal you just cannot pass up . . .
  10. Not sure who owns the Norton name, now. Reminds me of Indian (who finally found solid ground). But, you know, efforts like this make me ever-so-much-more proud of my V11 Sport and the continuous Mandello del Lario heritage.
  11. That is a handsome motorcycle, IMO.
  12. I mean, "I think" I get the seat inspiration. Except that it was probably just expedient and not actually "inspired" . . .
  13. Thinking out of the box again, @Scud !
  14. Please explain more, Tom . . . The new "well nuts" would not insert in the newly painter fender holes without enlarging the holes (removing paint from the holes)?
  15. I had to look up @ildar's "auratium green." This makes total sense now!
  16. Okay, how about "rubber well nut, expanding" or "insulating rivet nut" . . . https://www.mcmaster.com/rubber-well-nuts/
  17. The "small round threaded nuts" are embedded in the rubber causing expansion to capture the fender part when tightened. So, rather than try to put locking pliers on the metal 'nut', you may do better to grasp the entire rubber/metal unit (I'm sure those fasteners have a name . . . ) Obviously, they may need replacement if forced apart in this way.
  18. Sign-up post updated: 5 of 10 (and counting . . .)
  19. One more, for tonight. "Tennessee Plates" means lots of things to me. And "Brushy Mountain?" I've ridden up 'round there, but was never a "resident" . . .
  20. FWIW, I ain't exchanging any tangible OMRONs for frogs. A turkey sandwich? We can negotiate . . . My next V11Lemans.com donation will be direct. I plan my forum donation for our Forum's anniversary date: April 16 (2002). That's just me. Feel free to donate early and often! 21. I look around me and find I have definitely put my belief into tangibles. I'm just not sure I could really and actually trade a couple OMRON relays and a squarefin headguard for a turkey sandwich . . . Such a great parody of this matter of currency in John Steinbeck's (brilliant) Cannery Row when "Mac & the boys" capture a pond-full of frogs for Doc's lab, then "frogs" become the "currency" . . .
  22. More epistemology to consider . . .
  23. I mean, mySport has never run better. I guess I'll install a Genuine / P.Roper MotoModa ® plate "when the time comes." Maybe when the Genuine Joe Caruso® timing gears get mounted. Maybe replace the original valve cover gaskets . . . I am very proud that V11LeMans.com, and @Pressureangle in particular, has honored @pete roper's engineering/design contribution to this community.
