______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That branch of Lake Como which turns to noon between two uninterrupted upstream chains in a hustle and bustle of mountains, and from hand to hand more enlarged among other mountains that unfold one by one, to the eye, and that the water reflects upside down [oo'] villages located on the banks. [Obviously, the "google" translation loses poetic value and I could not make out the first word of the very last line. My new favorite Italian word: " andirivienni " ("hustle and bustle?") ] Grazie mille @v11_meticcio !

That looks mighty "gastro" from here, bud!

Hey, it's your V7Sport! It also looks you personally and meticulously built it from a heap. After others gave up. Seems you can paint it anyway you like! A V7Sport in V11Sport green would be > vibrant <

What a worthy resto! Welldone, man! Where are re-pop exhaust available for the V7Sport, now? P.S. - I wonder if the 2002-03 V11 Sport "green" is closer to the original V7Sport Legnano Green than the introductory V11 Sport "electrified" green?

Hiya, czakky! Looking forward to a dedicated thread on this V7 Sport in "Older Models." What an awesome bike the original V7 Sport is!

+1 on the best wishes! Very promising (and perhaps a bit intrepid) to right the EV, mount up, ride away.

I love my Tekno panniers! They are so versatile and dependable. Yep, they expand. And will hold a full case of long-neck ale bottles in sixes. It ain't purty, but it's real . . .

Ah, understood. I had my hopes up this time, "George."

Jumpy tachometer could be internal to the instrument, yet also Relay#2 NO contact or (perhaps more likely in your case) Relay#1 NC contact. P.S. - If it's a relay contact bouncing, the headlights would also flicker.

Gettin' down to the wire, @gstallons . . . Any hopes of seein' ya?

Oh, and hey-up, turns out this is a totally legit color from the early V7 Sport . . .
-
I'd like to keep looking further into this . . .

Also, if it matters, when you post a link to your Flickr account, any of of us can scroll all of your images. Like, I can see Roper's cat watches futball with it's tail straight out. Who wants the world to know these things about us?
-
Yeah, well, I grabbed your first image to display, but can't get anything from your flickr photostream to display.

[docc is trying to get Pete's image to display . . . ] . . . There! "Copy Image Link" . . .

We had this Vespa 200 for about a year. I thought it was great fun. Piaggio stated the top speed at 72 mph. What they meant was: "Flat out, the speedometer will indicate 72." Turns out this was just shy of 65. Flat out. On these open country roads that is just crash bait. Randy's 500 (4-valve SOHC single) with those tire sizes and great brakes is an awesome package! One of our members had one for quite some time and had some of the wishful sportbike guys checking their mancard at the counter . . .

Scarabeo! Those are wicked little wenches!

I really can't make sense of this image. It looks like a secondary hose comes in, above and behind the petcock's supply line, where the return line would reconnect to the regulator. Then it looks like the petcock attaches to, but is not aligned with, that portion of what might have been the regulator? What is on the left side of the tank? (Should be the fuel level sensor forward, but what is mounted aft on the left?)
-
Really good point! Parts Catalog exploded views are not assembly diagrams.

V100 Le Mans and Sport imagined by designer Oberdan Bezzi;

European release, then The States the following year(ish) . . . ? -
That fuel supply schematic is bizarre! (and unclear, at best) I never noticed that before. The actual tank schematic shows the fuel level sensor and electric fuel tap (petcock on the left, but the tap forward of the level sensor (incorrect). It is looking entirely possible that your fuel plumbing got mixed up . . .
