“Ten Beers” has the weekend off.
-
Il pesce d'Aprile Have some fun today, y'all!
-
I know it is bad form to post a listing without a price. I was thinking of asking a "mille lire" but don't think I have the "easy to live with, long legs" for it . . .
-
First image in this thread: @Orson's Tenni in Tuscany, 2005: @cash1000's Rosso Mandello in New Zealand, 2022: Just magnificent!
-
It's a bank account in Nigeria. Pretty sure we all already have that link in our Spam litter . . .
-
Yes. Well, and no. But, then yes, again. All of the above, "regular" but "special."
-
I cannot speak for Goofman's GB. Gladly, my GB is not a parts bike anymore. Last year, was another matter . . .
-
Sketchy parts bike, "running when parked last." Many changes, some >maybe< desirable. Extensive wiring *upgrades* Various extras in bags and boxes under the stairs. Bidding ends UTC April 1
-
Easy to agree. I have a difficult time with relevance. Anyone remember US TransAm road racing? Drivers like Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, and AJ Foyt flogging "regular" iron on the weekend that I would be driving (something similarly recognizable) to school on Monday. Yeah, those black marks leaving the school parking lot were mine . . .

Here, where we endeavor to blend torque values with LocTite applications with "I love you, man!"
-
Also, FWIW, Joe told me all of the V11 gear sets in this run are already spoken for.
-
FWIW, I was going to split the Corona posts into our "Banter and Special Conversation" subforum, but see that thread devolved into photography and confectioneries. Sheesh! Who is the Moderator here?!?
-
Very nice, all of the good wishes for each other's health. Thank you for not drifting this Technical Topic too far afield. Joe Caruso dropped my gears at a Royal Post Office in central England a week ago. The tracking could have them in my hands tomorrow. If that window is missed, it will be next week. Amazing, really. With no pressing need, my Sport will not likely shed its timing chest before the Eighteenth South'n Spine Raid come September.

@Lucky Phil tells me he is in. I'll let him speak for himself on concerns about the weave and finish. Not sure about @stewgnu . . . . While this initial run is in progress, I am going to pin this thread (so it stays in the upper register of this subforum and doesn't get "buried".) I have also pinned a locked (no reply) thread in "Classifieds" to direct inquiry here while this effort is in process. Thanks, again, @FreyZI! Welldone, Sir!

So, @FreyZI, can the color variation availability/pricing difference be confirmed by Riggeals? (P6x would make us five . . .)
-
Photos I produced for a college upper level art class (that I did not belong in). "Fragility" (the light bulbs on the drum head) perhaps suggest the series of Veglia instruments that went by the wayside . . . "Per-SEV-erance" (the car struggling against the logs) speak to my Sport's service to me over all this time. And distance. She deserves Carbon Fiber panties to show off that fine booty . . .
-
I know this will be off topic and borderline decorum, but my Caruso gears were dropped at a Royal Post Office in the heart of England (Leicestershire) Thursday last and was processed through our USPS, New York, before midnight last night (3 days). Don't get me wrong, our USPS could fumble it around mightily from here, but it is in country and likely to be in my hands, from the UK, in about a week. AUS is not receiving parcels from the USA?
-
FWIW, it is my Moto Guzzi "For Off Road Use Only" (Mistral?) accessory canisters I am hoping to compliment . . .
-
@p6x, AFAIK, the passenger seat cover is the same fitment and same mounting across the entire V11 range. Perhaps those of you who have, or have had, various V11 can confirm? [As of this post, 24 hours after @FreyZI posted the offer to sign up, I count four of us: FreyZI, docc, Joe, and GuzziMoto with Lucky Phil waiting in the wings with his usual cautious circumspection. ]
-
Furthering our noble efforts to clarify the V11 nomenclature (we are the world's foremost experts on the Moto Guzzi V11) @FreyZI's current thread "Sign-up list for new carbon fiber seat cowls" has had some fun with "what-to-call-what" . . . I'm to the point of saying that your LeMans >might< have "PorkChops", but mySport : nope

So I bought another bike today....
docc replied to Joe's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
I had to pass on the download, @Joe. Can you link us another way? -
That's three (in the first hour)! I forgot to suggest the the nomenclature "booty lid." I hope it's not too late to submit nominations.
