  1. I was thinking there is a Piaggio online inquiry resource about recalls, but may not reach this far back . . .
  2. My throttle body shafts should probably be seen to, as well. Yet, addressing your CO Fuel Trim with GuzziDiag is most recommended as a "what's next most." Especially if it is found deep into the double negative range. I have seen this value as far off as negative 75. My sport was negative 27 from the factory. Nothing I did to address the running issues was effective until the CO Fuel Trim was addressed.
  3. Do not neglect your brake fluid and caliper piston service at every (every) tire change. The difference in brake feel, even after a year, is always delightful and rewarding. And, yes, thoroughly clean both rear drive hub surfaces. Klüber Stabürags makes me happy here . . . Perhaps, above all, do not neglect the right side rear drive needle cage, inboard of the right swingarm. Unlikely that any shop technician will see to this critical lubrication point! Make no mistake, neglecting this simple (but hidden) clean/grease maintenance can become perilous for our rear drive . . .

  5. That is vastly understated considering the immense effort and expertise to mount a V10 Hi-cam in a V11 RedFrame. Along with the collection of subtle fasteners of titanium turned on a lathe. And on and on. Looks something like five years in the making.

We are talking clutch master cylinder rebuild kit? Pretty sure we have a Brembo number for that . . .
  7. Good news on the TPS solution and tune-up! No kit, but @Lucky Phil's excellent tutorial:
  8. Yes, indeed! In fact the threads are buggered on mine! I am rather surprised the exposed threads of the Wittner C44 are not damaged in the least. On that "utility" vise, the exposed screw allows for "the dynamic jaw square slider." Is that feature more robust or accurate than the more common C-channel guide used to cover the screw?
  9. Through one of the links @audiomick posted, I found the nomenclature for my dentist's small vise with the moveable jaw at the rear. Rather than a "leg vice" it is sold as a "dovetail hobby vise" with clamp mount (mine is 58 mm/ 2 1/4") . . . https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sealey-Cv50-Dovetail-Hobby-Vice-50Mm/1741421478?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101318182&adid=22222222222000000000&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=s&wl2=c&wl3=10352200394&wl4=pla-1103028060075&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&wl10=Walmart&wl11=Online&wl12=1741421478_10001337540&wl14=dovetail vice&veh=sem&gclsrc=ds
  10. So, among other tools, the holes in vise face are mounts for Hardies, swages, and fullers . . . https://forgingworld.com/hardy-tools-for-blacksmithing-the-complete-guide/
  11. Ken (The Lodge at Tellico) tells me there are three open rooms at this time.
  12. Is this the ferry from Sistersville, WVa, to Fly, Ohio, @Bill Hagan?
  13. Absolutely. And the swivel has no anchor. I saw that clamp mount called a "leg vise." I also noticed the big Wittner C44 utility vise has a square recess at the back of the anvil surface. Some sort of mounting hole?

  15. Hmm, yes, indeed: a full length dovetail and the rear, movable jaw . . .
  16. All good. I'm up for a little V11 molestation. It's what SpineRaids are for!
  17. Oh, sure, all good, then. Only docc has molested it.
  18. I am, obviously, still struggling between my "vices" and my "vises" . . .
  19. He was "Old School" and could cast his own crowns. Because of my wife's jewelry making business, he donated his equipment. I rather instantly took possession of the little vice . . .
  20. Successful "BikeWash" (154 mile shakedown ride) today. Today was mySport's 24th anniversary, so extra-special. On the lift, now, for tires and brakes and such . . .

  22. These guys could have probably made something of themselves if they had stuck with it.
  23. The little vice in the foreground (2 1/4" jaw width) belonged to my local dentist. Interesting thing is the back jaw is the movable and the front is stationary. Is there a name for that configuration? And some advantage?
