Seems she was very sleepy! Once the charge is terminated, it should drop back to 100% (12.84v) in hours. It is very telling how long it takes to fall off to the 85% charge threshold (12.65v). If that is 24-48 hours, repeat the discharge/charge cycle. After a few cycles, it should hold above the 12.65v threshold for 7-10 (or even weeks). You can also follow up with a float charge at 13.5-13.8v for a day or so. Odyssey states that "trickling" at voltages below 13.5v will damage an Odyssey battery. Most of the low amp trickle chargers I've seen are set at 13.15-13.18.

Gratuitous Pics of Girls + Guzzi

Is this clip from a full length film? Does anyone know? -
Click top title dated June 18, 2019, for one of the images of the placement of the bearings and spacers on the rear axle. Correct (113+ mm) spacer installed with the damaging (~112mm) spacer on the bench above the axle . . .

Now I see at 0:56-0.57 where she looks down at the dash and exclaims, ”Oh! La benzina!” -
I looked for a better resolution image, but didn't find one. Anybody?

If I heard her correctly, and my exchange rates are right, mille lire is about 50¢ US in today's money. That dude did not hesitate to shuck about a dime in 1967 money. -

Mille lire! -
Don't ask me, man. I was banking on a diesel triple, full-on military bike . . .

My newly acquired MotoItaliane reference, Moto Guzzi 1921-2021, states that the VA-10 was designed by "Angelo Ferrari, chief engineer of the Mandello-based company" in 1996. Between this, and the later ~2013 Federico Martini effort, it fascinates to see what Piaggio has in store . . .

Bruno dePrato would be an extraordinary advocate to further the truth of the Moto Guzzi V-twin's true history and stop the misguided tractor myth mistake. That this incoming liquid cooled V-twin is "a new project" also suggests it is not from the VA-10 designed by the team led by Danilo Majoli in 1997, under Finprogetti-TRG/ Cecchinato, that was shelved when Ivano Beggio acquired Moto Guzzi . . .

Would you email him to provide unequivocal references that the military mulo engine had nothing to do with Carcano's V7? I firmly believe we, as a community, have the obligation to help well placed, and well meaning, journalists get this story right and stop repeating the erroneous myth.

Right? No V11 SpineFrame. Yep, just to the left of "100 ANNI" looks like a SPOrT or a Daytona? The image resolution is too low to tell . . .

My stickers cam today (in just a week!) . . . They are very nicely done. Thanks @4corsa for posting!

Thanks, Pete! Now I understand what you mean by a "peg socket." Those are commonly available as a generic SKF, as well? -

Ah, okay, so this is the same type nut/ "safety" washer that anchors the V11 gearbox input hub? -
That will make a cool poster when they finally add that actual bike! Here's a bit of our discussion about it in @ScuRoo's 2021 LeMans Benchmark thread:

Yes, I believe #93_6 is Meinolf’s latest V11 map.

Offset is how far forward the forks are from the steering stem. So, yeah, like an inch and a half, but not four inches . . .

So, could this nut be preemptively secured without waiting for the noise? The, no worries? -
Thanks so much for reposting the image, Belair63! I always enjoy the pictures you post!

Moderator magic! Images fixed. All you really need to do when posting an image that is hosted (like yours, Pete, on flikr) is right click on the open image and select "copy image location" then paste into your post. Image addresses that begin and end with [img] (BBCode) won't display. -
I didn't think any EV has "upside down forks"/ male sliders at the bottom. So, I can't see how EV triples could work with the Marzocchi Sport/LeMans forks.

Seems what Weegie calls a "jubilee clamp", we Yanks call worm-gear clamps, or just "hose clamps." Pretty fun history on the whole "Jubilee Clip" thing on Wiki. So, the 1100 Sport-i is set up like the first generation V11 Sport (External fuel pump/ filter/ regulator). Once the system sits for a bit, the pressure just bleeds off. As Weegie says, you can then release one of the [hose clamps] and catch a bit of fuel. I typically take off the return line to the regulator and drain the filter atop the spine frame. Looks to be 100 ml or so, but not pressurized.

That it is built up, and so finely detailed, from a real hammer is just stunning; not just some hollow "rendition." Let the anvil ring!
