  1. That price is what I paid for mySport!
  2. https://www.andystrapz.com/ https://www.andystrapz.com/category/tyre-pumps-and-gauges
  3. This "Slime" mini tire inflator (top left) stays in the Tekno with this load out including an amazing plug system (not "rope" plugs). Used it a few times. I can't find any dimensions on the Slime products, but this one looks comparable: Slime Compact Tire Inflator #40060
  4. I want to apologize about over-posting on this music thread. Not able to ride mySport much lately due to "complexities", music becomes my sanctuary. I thought of asking Molly Tuttle to marry me, but she would say >no<, my wife would be pissed, and they would never find the body . . .
  5. I see @FalcoLion last visited October, 2023. Maybe the "@" notification will come to his attention . . .
  6. More to the point, @Randy, and his Coppa Italia, in their natural habitat:
  7. I did not realize you were displaced from your home because of this storm, @p6x. So glad to hear you are back home, now! High heat index is dangerous, especially for those with heart conditions. And old-ish-ness types . . . like most of us?
  8. It occurred to me to add, while the level can be checked in situ, the forks should be removed to change the oil. I have used a vacuum siphon to remove "most" of the oil for a pseudo-change, but is pretty shaved-ape, I admit . . .
  9. + 1 on the SealMate! And the oil level can be checked with the forks mounted if you have a way to support the bike safely and let it down to fully compress the forks with the top caps off. This is by using the "air gap" method to determine fill level.
  10. I saw this guy live at The Tampa Theater about 1980-ish. What a captivating showman . . .
  11. There are so many great cuts on her 2003 release, Retrospective . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retrospective%3A_The_Best_of_Suzanne_Vega
  12. Our air cooled, V-twin big block Guzzi are a good example of design based upon maintenance and reliability goals. The whole spineframe chassis, as well. The ease of wheel removal, brake service, and battery access is admirable, IMCO. Sure, there is that "tank off" thing for the air and fuel filters, but I've seen worse.
  13. The interwebs can be amazing. I am amazed that this song was ever performed live. And more amazed it was captured on video. Sure, it is a cacophony of sound and video, but, hey: " Blood Makes Noise !"
  14. Yes, indeed. The JIS "cross head screw" is not a "Phillip's Head." I have re-cut all of my "cross-head" screw drivers to limit/eliminate "cam-out."
  15. And all this time since hearing from @Orson . . .
  16. @-Martin.Glaeser- speaks the truth. Again. Thank you, Martin, for staying with us.
  17. My understanding is this is exactly what the Phillip's head was designed for: for the driver to "cam out" on assembly without over-torquing. They were never designed to take apart. Agreed on Torx and Robinson drives being positive engagement, both in and out.
  18. Yeah, we agree on this. My introduction to this concept was discovering the true purpose of the "Phillip's Head Screw." Then came Torx . . .
  19. I have long been fond of saying that consumer products, perhaps all the way from toasters to airliners, are designed with two purposes: build and sell.
  20. I always thought it would be compelling to have photos of my luscious Sport with an appropriate "model." There are so many obstacles to that happening. Not the least of which is being a bassman. My guitar guys asked me, "What do you call the woman on the arm of a bassman?" > a tattoo <
  21. Beta Testing of the new generation Moto Guzzi has begun!
  22. You really have the Sport looking great, @motoguzzikc! Here is a link to a Tekno thread that shows the internal support plate, as well as my outcome using a professional fabric restoration product: SEM Color Coat Flexible Coating Landau Black Interior Paint . . .
  23. Derecho are wicked straight-line wind, storm front events, not uncommonly 70-90 mph! I hope all of us are using quality radar apps on our mobile devices and know what the derecho radar signature looks like. Do not ride in these!
