Trying to find some angles you can use . . .

my only mod was to machine the bar-ends for CRG mirrors:
  3. Yeah, the "Frame Side Plate" . . . you can actually see a little nick in mine in the image above. Seems the lever doesn't move the same throw in all downdshifts, so check through the range.
  4. It "may" be fine, but check the actual voltages. I have returned chargers that claimed "AGM" but didn't demonstrate the unique charge and float voltages for AGM. Odyssey are specific animals, so be aware of their charge voltages and amperages. Lots of EnerSys/Odyssey references in that "Conditioning" thread.
  5. Truly! In fact: clean, service, shim, and align the entire Rube Goldberg shift mechanism! Make sure the foot lever does not strike the FrameSidePlate in any gear on the downstroke.

Yessir. And the fork tubes are smaller than later V11. (Pinch surface is 54mm diameter.) It is a complex assembly that includes the riser, pinch bolts, bar with its pinch bolts, isolated grip area, and internal weight with its fastener. "Works of art!" EDIT: Thanks, Andy York! . . . .

If you are dressing an early RedFrame, only clip-ons from 1999-2001 Sports (and Rosso Mandello) will be right.
  8. I would watch that vent filter for enough oily mess to drip. Maybe position it above the hugger instead of the tire?

https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?/topic/20736-2000-sport-part-out/I scrolled 20 pages of US ebay and found no early "clip-ons". . . Maybe contact our member r3datom9?

You didn't mention the clutch line, but: https://www.ebay.com/itm/02-Moto-Guzzi-V11-V-11-LeMans-Le-Mans-clutch-hydraulic-line-hose/273413732013?hash=item3fa8ba76ad:g:DWIAAOSwoYxbd20Thttps://www.ebay.com/itm/02-Moto-Guzzi-V11-V-11-LeMans-Le-Mans-clutch-hydraulic-line-hose/273413732013?hash=item3fa8ba76ad:g:DWIAAOSwoYxbd20T

Early style clip-on, complete assembly, NOS (left hand) has more of a > wow< price, but it shows the complete assembly that is often separated by "breakers": https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-MOTO-GUZZI-V11-SPORT-MANDELLO-1100-99-01-LH-HALF-HANDLEBAR-GU01600731/183793052329?epid=2265136455&hash=item2acaeb6aa9:g:mFAAAOSw1IlZwtkYhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-MOTO-GUZZI-V11-SPORT-MANDELLO-1100-99-01-LH-HALF-HANDLEBAR-GU01600731/183793052329?epid=2265136455&hash=item2acaeb6aa9:g:mFAAAOSw1IlZwtkY

Hey! Front brake lines? Huron, Ohio . . . your neighbors! https://www.ebay.com/itm/02-Moto-Guzzi-V11-V-11-LeMans-Le-Mans-front-brake-lines-hoses/401583528402?hash=item5d803e59d2:g:XKQAAOSwvJNbd3Hjhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/02-Moto-Guzzi-V11-V-11-LeMans-Le-Mans-front-brake-lines-hoses/401583528402?hash=item5d803e59d2:g:XKQAAOSwvJNbd3Hj

There are a few V11 in parts on US ebay. Have you looked there? Otherwise, seems this thread would be best in "Classifieds: Wanted" since an '01 RedFrame is not an "Older Model." Well, not to us, anyway!
  14. Come to think of it, the later Warning Light cluster also differs: no charging/battery light and turn indicators for right and left. I suppose the wiring connector would also differ in that case (?)
  15. The cable drive to the speedometer is different on the early white-face Veglia. I have seen the later cable (" bent tube" guide at the gearbox) used to drive them, so may be worth a try without changing to the early "bevel drives." Neither the later black-face nor the early white face instruments have been terribly reliable.
  16. Don't give up on your Odyssey just yet . . . If your charger has a Manual Mode, set it for 6+ amps and monitor the voltage with a good voltmeter. Do not exceed 15 volts. There is an entire thread on "Conditioning the PC545" along with references to a list of chargers approved by EnerSys (Odyssey):
  17. All of the above?
  18. So, two - three minutes is plenty to take the surface charge off the pates and warm the battery, but not 5-10. What is the date code on the battery?
  19. More likely you need a new charger. The Odyssey will not actually charge with less than 6 amps.
  20. That seems rather un-pilot-like . . . When was the last time the ignition switch was inspected for broken wires, cleaned and restored?
  21. So, those Scotch Locks are to eliminate the bullet connectors? Might as well take them apart and make more secure connections (Lap splice, crimp connectors, etc.) and seal them well against the weather and blow. Those connections could still be problematic. Lights come on? Horn? (Edging toward relays next . . . .)
  22. When you turn the key on all lights come on? Brake light works and horn? If so, thumb the starter button. Not even a click? Holding the clutch in and the keeping the starter button pressed, sweep the steering lock-to-lock. Starter engages suddenly? This will be the two weak "bullet connectors" along the forward, left side of the frame needing attention (clean, crimp, Caig DeOxit or Vaseline, heat shrink, and groom them into place where the steering will not tug them open).
  23. Fuse 4 is the Ignition Switch. They deserve a good inspection, cleaning, and lubrication.

Why would the cover need to be off?
  25. I like Progrip Superbike grips in this pattern. Cushy, yet positive grip and Made in Italy! (Also, do not neglect timely and meticulous tuning and synchronization to help tame the vibes!) https://www.revzilla.com/dirt-bike/pro-grip-699-sport-bike-gel-grips
