    I don't think I posted a crossover with the Wix.. True, that. What year range Ford Transit Connect have the same oil filter that fits the V11?

    WIX application chart does not bring up the 51215 for me on the Ford 2.0 Transit Connect. Earlier, I searched a bunch of Fords and Mazdas to find the 51215, but it never came up. Did I say ?
  3. Don't let those connectors keep you up at night. Looking at the CO Fuel Trim can be done cold. Changing it with guzzidiag has to be done at operating temperature. Meinolf favors changing the CO Fuel Trim in the EEPROM, but that's outside my pay grade.
  4. That is nicely done, Tom! Would it benefit from some seals (O-rings?) on each side to keep the weather out? I've always thought properly dimensioned Delrin bushings would be ideal replacements. Cheap material, easy to work, press out the old ones, in with the new and *roberto รจ tuo zio.*

  8. Docc, it says 50 but can't tell if it's + or - 50. Sorry docc, thought that was directed to me. John Not a problem. I'm always curious where we find the CO. I haven't looked at the that display in a while, but I recall the "minus" ( - ) being obvious. It certainly will be when you move the CO setting. 50, either way, seems kind of extreme . . .

  10. If I had not seen so many relay failures on V11, I would be inclined to agree wholeheartedly. So, not only is there sketchy empirical evidence, but also lots of marginal science.

  15. So, I noticed your Greenie has steel "flnned" exhaust flanges. Most V11 exhaust flanges are smooth alloy pieces. From that, I always thought your V11 was an early build and *might* have the very early "steeper triple clamps." But my Sport was built March 2000, so I guess Luigi just wanted you to have those (beautiful!) finned exhaust flanges. Very, very unlikely you have the "steeper triples." Sounds like you just need to spec your springs and "set up" your suspension. (You'll be sooooo happy you did!) My build tag says "MFD BY Moto Guzzi Co. ITALY" just above the inscribed build date, and "THIS VEHICLE CONFORMS TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS blah-blah-blah" . . . This is on the metal tag on the left side of the frame head tube. So: frame (vehicle) Made in Italy. There is a paper tag on the right side of the spine frame, but I can't see it with the tank on. Is that where you see the New Zealand wording? [P.S. - The majority of US Federal labels were applied to my swingarm under the "hugger." My replacement swingarm, from Germany, has none of these stickers.]
  16. Yeah, man, if you could gets springs spec'd for your weight-in-gear, and set the preloads for the "sags" it will transform the stability.

    Correct: the [3 pin-> OBD] has 12 volt power clips, but the actual [OBD -> USB] has to be correctly FTDI chipped.

    Thanks for heads up on the availability. Let's see if we can scare one up stateside. I googled "3 pin to OBD cable" and see offerings from $4-6. Be certain your Triumph cable is FTDI chipped.
  21. There's one 15. When your replace the relays, pull as straight up as possible so as not to open up the contacts in the bases. You'll have to rock them a little, but be mindful.
  22. I'm not sure whether to move this thread to "Newer Models" or "Older Models", so let's let it run right here for a while to see if we get some good replies. I'll edit the title to get the attention of The Knowing.
  23. So . . . those are not like V11 LeMans/Sport ("up-side-down") forks at all. But, there are some guys here that know those Tonti forks. We'll have to wait on the time zones to shift between Indiana and Bungendore . . . . Stand by . . .
