    Champagne wishes...

    Oh, my . . .
  2. My favorite "vintage" intro: Stan Webb and Chicken Shack/ The Thrill Is Gone . . . I totally love this 1974 version where he finishes the *intro* and you can hear him say, " . . . I forgot the rest . . ."
  3. Aye . . . +48 would be A LOT "richer" than stock. (Factory V11 CO setting is usually in the minus 30 range). Yet, I'm not sure just how much the actual air-fuel ratio is changed with the "CO fuel trim."
  4. Nice, man! Look at what lights come on when the key is first turned on . . .
  5. I've got a lot of catching up to do on this thread.
  6. I love my Stucchi. Makes me understand why Superman keeps that one fist out ahead of him in flight . . . doesn't take much, it's just gotta be in the right place.

    Guzzi - Morgan

looks gold to me.. True, yet that green seems a bit elusive, photographically . . .

    Guzzi - Morgan

If I had any digital talent, I would "Photoshop" a Moggie trike in flat black with the 1400 Guzzi motor out front sporting red valve covers . . . . . . next best thing to actually building one!

    V9??
  10. What color is the Sport 1100?
  11. Is that, like, a motorcycle tutu?

    Guzzi - Morgan

Oh, my! I've been having startling sleeplessness thinking about doing this with the new 1400 Guzzi motor . . . That one looks to be finished in the classic V7/V11 Sport green?
  13. Was it the nefarious, elusive front that went bad?
  14. Did you have to remove it to feel this?
  15. What made them "needed done?"
  16. Happy, happy, happy . . .
  17. If the battery has indeed gone flat (and it looks like it has) it may be recoverable. See the ( lengthy ) thread: Odyssey PC545 Battery conditioning As well as this official Odyssey procedure to recover a deeply discharged AGM Odyssey battery: http://www.odysseybattery.com/documents/ProceduretorecoverdeeplydischargedODYSSEY.pdf
  18. I remember riding with you guys off The Plateau, but never heard the trucker story. So, Pat rescued his flooded LeMans IV and put it back right. But also has the sweet '04 LeMans that he's been putting some serious miles on.
  19. 12.5 volts is 50% for an AGM. This post shows good voltages: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19672&p=214436 And, agreed, that trickle chargers may not be correct fr the AGM. Float voltage must be above 13.5 and the battery should never be allowed to go below 12.65v before charging.
  20. Washers?
  21. Sweet! Love the round fins and black/gold. Different how?
  22. Actually, you can just grasp and twist. It should be firm and not rotate.
  23. Thanks, danl. No onboard voltmeter, but also no indication of fluctuating voltages (varying light brightness). I'm trying to figure a way to put a screw into that flinky connection, but it will be at full voltage and I'd hate for it to rub into the frame and throw sparks.
  24. New member is looking for a V11. Did you guys buy them all up?
