More progress, yet! Look at a "Battery Basket Drop" . . .
-
I could have my "right and left" mixed up looking upward at your under-tank image. One is the tank vent and one is the overflow. Both could be combined to atmosphere with a single exit below the gearbox.
-
I wonder if the pump on top of the frame arrangement allows the filter to be changed without a tank off?
-
That pinch damage ain't gonna swell closed. Even without changing component placement, that hose just needs to be longer.
-
Pretty sure that is your fuel filler overflow line that connects to the right side under-tank nipple and dribbles fuel overflow/ under-cap wetness out below the gearbox. The valved tubing from the left side is the fuel tank venting. Those valves were a known fail point and many removed them, routing the vent below the gearbox or joining it with the overflow tube.

Moving the pump to the top of the frame was, IMCO, a factory effort to address "vapor lock" reports. At this juncture, I believe the pump is better mounted to the left side of the frame, groomed forward with the petcock-to-pump fuel line shielded and as short as possible to keep it away from the head fins. With the fuel filter mounted top-side on the SpineFrame, the fuel line from the pump to the filter can be lengthened to mitigate that pinch.

Another great topic. This is going to take some sorting . . .

While finalizing my reservation with The Lodge at Tellico, Ken sent me this message with contact info: Happy Saturday! All are welcome to use the link below or call, just make sure to mention the group. I have blocked a total of 13 rooms and can add more or remove if/when necessary. Looking forward to another great year! Ken https://hotels.cloudbeds.com/reservation/gZK3sa?allotment_block_code=b102430#checkin=2025-09-05&checkout=2025-09-07 EDIT: Oh, my! Six months out . . .

I see now how high the battery sits above the subframe. Consider mounting the battery basket from beneath the subframe.

Progress, @Tennitragic! Just a note that our V11 are very demanding on the relays. "High Current" micro relays are well indicated, but challenging to verify. Lately, this means Picker Components or CIT....

@Orson kicked off our "Post a Picture" thread with his "Tenni in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany " . . . At some point, he moved to the coast of US North Carolina. Last post, last visit here I see from him is March 2019 . . . https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/profile/16-orson/ -
Presently embroiled in a transition from a thirty year domicile, I am reminded of the matters of Maritime Law. Is my buoyant crap falling overboard (flotsam), or am I throwing it overboard deliberately (jetsam)? Will I try to tie a marker to my sinking stuff (lagan) to try and reclaim it later, or let it sink to abandonment (derelict). Will pirates come to relieve me of some of the burden? AAARRRRGGGG !!! https://everything.explained.today/Flotsam%2C_jetsam%2C_lagan_and_derelict/

Took me a while, but I did find this nice shot of @Admin Jaap's V11 G&B . . . .

Like the "thread boards" mounted in the fastener aisle at the local hardware store? I never thought of adding those to my personal "fastener aisle" . . . brilliant!

. . . but not a fart too far!

Update on these retention washers and special nuts, courtesy of @pete roper:
-
This "safety washer"is what failed on my gearbox input hub. The hub would "walk off" and there would be no clutch engagement. Then spin back on like nothing had happened. Good to know these are standard industry items and the sockets are also available outside of "Moto Guzzi Special tools." Failed retention: Repurposed failed Safety Washer as sidestand index. Seems all bight-eyed ans smiles there . . .

GU12717600 https://harpermoto.com/search?q=GU12717600&options[prefix]=last (Gotta love Curtis' wooden inch-ruler with the metal edge, "MADE IN U.S.A." ) Pretty sure my first grade teacher might have smacked my bum with one of those for being tempestuous. Or impetuous. Or worse.

Are we, actually, "that guy " . . . -
This is first I have heard that the lock nuts and "safety washers" are SKF items. Thank you, Pete! Long time since hearing from @Rolf Halvorsen. Wishing him the best.
