Always start with a thorough "tune-up." TPS Setting and Throttle Body Balance.

First couple electrical issues to check would be the ignition switch (remove, clean, inspect, repair wires if needed) and relays (especially positions 1 and 2, swap in known good quality spares, make sure the connections are clean and tight). Do the three main indicator lights come on with the key (neutral, oil, battery)?

There you go! Late model Scura R (likely 2004 production sold into 2005). Pretty rare, I'm thinking, but maybe a world wide search would turn one up (MI, MPH in USA, TLM in Netherlands, HMB - Germany. Looks the one i your link has a different windscreen and maybe a sticker or decal but otherwise the same fairing.

The Tenni is (electrically/mechanically) a 2002 LeMans. All dressed up for a fast date!

No battery light with the key on could be an open 30amp fuse as well. Easy to check, but if it's blown look for the cause.

I was thinking that is the Givi style screen available for the Sports 2002 and on. The early screens are Stucchi and fibergalss. It may be the same or very similar to the Centauro screen. Come to think of it, didn't Centauro come in that black with red stripe?

The original batteries were labeled "Spark 500" as I recall. These are AGM (absorbed glass mat) and designed to lie on their side. Just be sure your seat isn't squeezing your battery! The Hawker Odyssey PC545 appears identical to the original battery.

+1 on all fotoguzzi's comments. Plus: yes, plastic tanks, all. Probably some kind of roto-molded polyamide . . . besides the full "leMans style" fairing, there are several smaller offerings - some fork mounted like the early Sport and others frame mounted like the Ballabio/Café Sport.

So, you're thinking faired V11 (LeMans/Rosso Corsa/Nero Corsa/Tenni), or "naked, " perhaps a little bikini faring (Sport/Rosso Mandello/Ballabio/Coppa Italia)?

Maybe a little pic of how the set-up on the airhead turned out; sounds like it might be revealing. And help you figure out which model V11 suits you. Once you hook a ride on one, you'll want to keep going back for more . . .

Thanks, Mal! No new goodies yet! I don't think he can decide what to do next. Looks like the Guzzi rearsets are likely along with some Mistral reverse cone megas. Sounds like those will require some new hangers that eliminate the passenger pegs. That reminds me: I haven't gotten my "test" ride with the Tomasellis!
