  1. Agreed. I feel confident we have identified this connector. It is still strange, to me, that the main cavity sea is not available separately, but such is often the matter of "manufacturer's assemblies", as @audiomick so noted. CaspersElectronics was so prompt and courteous, offering to send me a seal off of one their connectors. I just could not accept as I have ruined these seals myself, unknowingly, with the Caig DeOxit. There is a broad mix of connectors on our V11. There appear to be TE "AMP" SuperSeal, rectangular ("AMP" ?) that are not "SuperSeal", bullet connectors, ring terminals, spade connectors, and certainly this one Metri-Pack . . . Is there an Italian phrase for "what have you ?"
  2. Yes, our TPS connector is shown on page 76 of that document as an "assembly" including the female connector with the cavity seal in place. C Part No: 12052641 (Black/Green Seal) Description: Connector Assembly 3F

    fuel efficiency

Simple enough to push an incandescent bulb back into the Fuel Level socket and see if it lights as expected . . . Here is a post by our illustrious @Kiwi_Roy declaring the LED will need additional resistance to function with the thermistor:
  4. I dunno. All of the other components are available separately, including the individual wire seals. Once in hand, I intend to "start a new topic" related to seal failure and the concern over using connector treatments, specifically our beloved Caig DeOxit®. [edit: Thanks, again, to @PJPR01 for the heads-up on the swell/tear issue . . .] [edit2 June 20, 2023:

    Diagnostic Cables

That could be a security/firewall setting in your OS. See if you can navigate to that section and list GuzziDiag as an exception. edit/ to wit:
  6. Caspers got back to me immediately and confirmed that the main "cavity" seal is not available separately from their suppliers. He offered to pull one off a send it to me, but I declined and thanked them for offering the TPS breakout harness. My plan is to buy a few of these connectors to get the seals. More SpineRaid swag! Still, hard to believe the main seals are nowhere to be found separately . . .
  7. I forget what is under mine, but I think a washer would be better (one less place for a vacuum leak). Pretty sure I posted a source for the silicone caps here somewhere . . .

    fuel efficiency

I would be quite pleased with37. Six gallons from a V11 tank! Oh, my . . . Check the wiring on your fuel level sensor, especially coming out of the sensor. Also, could be as simple as a bulb . . .
  9. "What's next most" . . .
  10. Commonly called "vacuum taps", I see the early Parts Catalog only shows a "screw" there. Consider sourcing a tight-fitting silicone cap for those. The common rubber caps dry out, crack, harden and get loose. The kind of insidiously progressive vacuum leak that can be maddening with running issues.
  11. So, the greenie's CO ended up back at negative 20?
  12. So great to see a picture of the GuzziDiag developer! I love the way the guy in the red hat appears to be standing at attention, saluting. I don't get that at SpineRaids . . .
  13. Success, @red lion?
  14. Looking at the datasheet for the TE Superseal 3 way connector, the dimensions do not match the Delphi connector for the TPS on the Caspers breakout harness. Looking further into Delphi, I see this Metri-Pack connector, but can't find a dimensioned drawing. This does appear to be the correct connector for our TPS. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Aptiv-formerly-Delphi/12162280?qs=TcI%2BB%2FoBdJs3bmRc88sY3Q%3D%3D Best price, on the female connector, I have found (even has the green seal): https://www.eficonnection.com/home/product/delphi-3-way-black-metri-pack-150-2-sealed-female-connector-2

    Relay mounts

Ah, yes. That extra relay is so well mounted and aligned I did not realize it had been added!
  17. I am glad we not the only ones to pull off seats to connect diagnostics . . . Which always gathers an interested crowd . . .
  18. Even four weeks out, I ran out of time for the Kentucky SpineRaid. Got that sorted now. I will need a new rear tire before the SSR XIX. And, well, you know . . . that slippery slope that goes with a tire change . . .

What is this secret 20A/35A relay, @MartyNZ ?

    Relay mounts

    Once again, @Kiwi_Roy's sage wisdom:
  21. Very cool! Thanks, @gstallons! Even paying a few bucks for a new connector to get the seal could be well worth it. After treating all of the harness connectors under the tank with Caig DeOxit, the bike would not start. Taking the tank back off , I found one of the large connectors reluctant to go back together (from @PJPR01's post, now I know why!). Used a carpenter's clamp to reseat the connector and zip-tied. Yes, I would like the replace that seal, as well . . .

    Relay mounts

Lots of relay discussion dating way back to the beginning. The very first action my dealer provided for mySport, when new, was a larger Start relay (#1/front). The early V11 (1999-2001) uses the weaker (N.C.) contacts of that relay to supply all power to Relay#2 (headlights ETC). Later V11 send all of this through the Ignition Switch (another kind of potential problem). Under-rated relays have been known to fail in the V11, perhaps especially #5 (Fuel/Ignition) in the back of the stack; likely why the previous owner of Art's Sport has tagged these two relays. "Best" relay currently available is probably the Pickers Components rated 25/30. The CIT 20/30 is probably fine, yet on the early Sport that 25 amp N.C. rating on the Pickers seems good insurance . . .
  23. Our V11 LeMans/Sports have an elegant breather vent on both the reardrive and the gearbox. Why not add one to your Quota reardrive and loose the "artisan" solution?

    Relay mounts

Your relay mounts have been mucked with. Plus, the "STA-RTR" relay is normally in the front. Might still be, since labeling the relay itself is bad procedure as soon as a relay gets moved.
