My "OE" Brembo pads should arrive in a couple more days from OPP Racing, Washington USA. I had to remove the Brembo "Sinter" pads after just 80 miles. I could already see/hear the rotors scoring. YMMV, but I have had very poor results (excessive rotor wear) from HH rated pads on my V11 before. It seems the OE pads, and our rotors, are rated FF. Certainly not "SHH."

Correct metric air bypass screw O-rings in Viton, 75 Durometer,(4mm O.D. I.D. x 2mm cross section), compared to the (U.S. expedient) #008, the inside diameter (I.D.) is especially suspect (loose). The #008 (right) is visibly undersized, yet so very close. Correct metric O-rings installed in mySport, now, and awaiting a check ride to see if this issue introduced the nasty hiccup/cough/stumble/hesitation at various new rpm once warmed up, or if I jacked up the TPS setting with my last "Tune-up." >unscientific< comparison shown in thousandths of an inch. Original Moto Guzzi green O-rings shown top, left ("probably" Nitrile). Opening, and zooming, the higher resolution image clearly shows one is damaged.

Big, smelly people come around the Guzzi breathing heavily. True, this NEVER happens on my Honda . . .

It looks like the V11 flywheel (top right) could be bolted in any of six positions....

Unlike some other Guzzi, the V11 does not get it's timing trigger from the flywheel, so (as you say) the position would only affect the markings (D/S) used to position the motor for the valve adjustments.

I will always remember this version of the Quota at my dealer when I bought my Sport. It has always captivated me, yet the height/weight seems unwieldy for me. While I have not ridden one, I recall a pair of them struggling on switchbacks in the West Virginia hills/"mountains". One of them had grounded a "pannier"/ hard side case, that had pitched him off. "Dr. John's DirtBike" . . .

Yep, the ONLY thing GuzziDiag can actually SET on a V11 is the CO Fuel Trim. So valuable, though. The CARC bikes are a totally different animal! (Even though the throttle bodies look identical!)

In that case, also bring a Casper's TPS Breakout Harness. I saw @Skip is bringing a computer with cables. I figured his computer is loaded with GuzziDiag . . .

ooooh, wait . . . The V11 TPS cannot be set with GuzziDiag. That must be done with a quality voltmeter . . . (jus' sayin' . . .)
