Ha! I am actually going to be there! I am a photographer and one of my clients is the company that lit the track..sooo...they are paying me to shoot the practice, qualifying and race! Long flights but hey, I am stoked.

I am still waiting...and waiting...and waiting for my tank seat and misc alloy bits. Just gathering parts at this time. Wassp..I will be in Albany tommorow...expect a call soon.

Maybe you will have better luck because of where you are located...don't get me wrong, I am in no hurry and John seems like a great guy..but mine were scheduled to be fab'ed the week of May 28th...he says they are done now and I am waiting for him to call me and give me payment and shipping info. FWIW

ey Guy! Funny you brougt this up. I have a butt uly G5 sitting in my storage garage just waiting to come apart. John at The Tank Shop is nearly ready to ship me my tank, seat, side covers and fender. Same deal here...polished alloy everywhere for my bike...should be fun.

I bought the G5...now I want to make it an alloy Cafe Racer..ala...the Davida bike. Any idea where to get raersets that work for it? Also, I understand the fork stations are odd sized and clip-on handlebars may be hard to find...any ideas???

I have an oportunity to pick up a 1979 G5 for $2k. Are they as bullet proof as everyone says? What is a decent price for a 30,000 mile pretty good condition G5? Thanks!

Erm...where is the fast idle lever? Kinda new to this guzzi

What does your V11 Idle at...mine is about 1500rpm...seems high. Is there an idle speed knob? Thanks

How do you change the light for the license plate on a stock V11 rear end? Thanks! Got it...never mind.

Ok, it looks like, coincidentally, the brake light burned out...so now I am just down to left rear not working (that would be my connection most likely) as for resistors, PJ's parts says 1 per side...usually. Thanks for the input...I'll post more when the demons return.

I bought some Rizoma LED signals. http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_in...;products_id=48 Wired them up straight and all 4 stayed on continuously. SO I ordered the resistors http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=137 wired them in 3 flashed one did nothing, 2 flashed 1 had some of the LED's lit...got frustrated and buckled the rear under fender up tried them again and now the right side works great, left side front flashes, rear does nothing (could be my connection) but I now have no Brake light from either brake?????? Any wisdom for me....please?!
