I dropped in on the Kansas MGNOC Rally last weekend. I couldn't stay long. My nine year old boy and I spent part of the time at the NHRA Race in Topeka the same weekend. Took several pics and spent time chatting and riding until the boy got bored with listening to us old men banter about life. Weather was perfect on Saturday. However, you could tell some had been rained on during their trip on Friday My 2004 Sport. Trent next to a Red Norge. Hey, how did this get there. Guess he took a wrong turn somewhere. Along with the BMW GS Uneventful weekend. Nice group. I hope to stay longer next year as long as the Race weekend and Campout don't fall at the same time. Richard Z. Couple more pictures: Richard Z.

On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help! Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with the only tractor. Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Harley. Finding the keys in the ignition, the chicken sped off with a length of rope hoping he still had time to save his friend's life. Back at the bog, the horse was surprised, but happy, to see the chicken arrive on the shiny Harley, and he managed to get a hold of the loop of rope the chicken tossed to him. After tying the other end to the rear bumper of the farmer's bike, the chicken then drove slowly forward and, with the aid of the powerful bike, rescued the horse! Happy and proud, the chicken rode the Harley back to the farmhouse, and the farmer was none the wiser when he returned. The friendship between the two animals was cemented: Best Buddies, Best Pals. A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too, began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life! The horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle. Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his hangy-down thing and he would then lift him out of the pit. The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled him up and out, saving his life. The moral of the story? (yep, you betcha, there IS a moral!) Couple months back I jumped on a Nelson Rigg set on denniskirk.com. The tank, tail, and saddlebags shipped were less than $100.00 USD. The NelsonRiggs are gret. I use them on the Triumph and the V11. There are some clearance bags on the Dennis Kirk site. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...0710&mmyId= or http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...0710&mmyId= Richard Z.

Don't get me started on US Motorsports programming... The wolds most powerful motorsport is usually bumped by Womens Sycronized swimming or bass fishing... NHRA used to be the King of Motorsports. I could watch it uninterupted on network television. Now its on at 3am during the week if I'm lucky... Richard Z. -
Holy megapixel Batman... Look at the size of that picture.... Richard Z.

Well, since I can't ride two of them at the same time 2 hours away. and with a 9 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. Trailering was the only option. Almost forgot the two Ducatis that were trailered there didn't win along with 1 Big Dog and a couple Harley's I watched unload. Here are the pics of the Ducati's. I voted for both of them. I can't remember the years of them. I think 1985 and a 1987. Alchemy Austrailia and a English-Harris. Richard Z.

The carbs are still out being serviced. I couldn't even get close to the correct tune. I found someone that will bench sync and road test them prior to delivery. So they should be here next week. Richard Z.

I'm real sorry to hear that. The build of this bike was due to an accident I had last September. I too was worried with the loss of a leg. However, modern medicine and a lot of rehab I am walking fine now. Just one hell of a scar. I won't be running anytime soon, but I am able to work and support my habit and family.. Those pics were taken 45 days after the accident. Wish him well for the rest of us riders. He is in our prayers... Richard Z.

All I got to say is thanks.... Glad I got these instead of the CRG's.... They are exactly what I wanted for better price. Thanks, Richard Z.

Comediane gone talk show host.... Oh yes. She's Queer..... This bitch opens her mouth too much about things she knows absolutely nothing about. It makes her more popular with fanatics... Richard Z. -
Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, and Quasimodo were all talking one day. Sleeping Beauty said, "I believe myself to be the most beautiful girl in the world." Tom Thumb said, "I must be the smallest person in the world." Quasimodo said, "I absolutely have to be the ugliest person in the world." So they all decided to go to the Guinness Book of World Records to have their claims verified. Sleeping Beauty went in first and came out looking deliriously happy. "It's official, I AM the most beautiful girl in the world." Tom Thumb went next and emerged triumphant, "I am now officially the smallest person in the world." Sometime later, Quasimodo comes out looking utterly confused and says."Who is Rosie O'Donnell? Richard Z

I changed the orientation of the mirror after riding... I've put the wide end out. I noticed a little rubbing of the levers at first, but then adjusted the perches. It's still close. I just ordered a set of short levers so that won't be a problem anymore. Richard Z

I just ordered a set of Shorts for my 04 V11 sport. I have Napoleon AP104 bar End mirros and the stock levers just slightly rub the mirror stem when fully pulled in. This should help my riding experience greatly. Thanks for making these available for the V11 Crowd. I was really close to ordering CRG's. But, offers like this need to be supported. Thanks Again. Richard Z replied to Richard Z's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
Actually some friends are doing the scenic bypass # (I can't remember) Springdale/Hot Springs this weekend. I was going but have to work now. I have a friend that just moved from Frisco back to Wichita. Funny thing is he called me today. Talk about coincidence. Richard Z.
